Thanks for the quality of the video, it was a little better.
For bronny I think he will be drafted. He has good foundations. He is not yet ready to play, but the basis is there he will work on his shooting reliability etc.
But he already has good aggression, good speed and activity.
He already looks better than Jalen Hood Schifino did when he started last year.
Now it's still weird because obviously many expected him to be as brilliant as the father, often the sons are even better than the fathers but that can't be the same level.

needs to work on his aggression tbh, has the skills to attack but settles for passes at times. def shows the flashes though, saw him in person when USC came to Arizona State

If he can turn into a good 3 and D player he can be successful in the NBA for any team. 100 percent.

The league is clearly looking for good backup point guards.
Because when we look at all the rosters I have the feeling that not all teams have 2 reliable point guards.
If he defends hard and manages to read the game well enough in pick and roll and if he gets a decent shooting percentage, he will have his place!
Many point guards in the NBA are problems on defense.

His reading of the game and decision making was great. Just need to get his shots dropping better, so looking like a decent candidate for the draft.
edit: Regarding if we would want him, I could maybe see Mavs getting some good use out of him. Like how his decision making is already looking better then THJ, so one potential use for him.

I wouldn't want him on my team. The attention that comes with him outweighs his actual basketball skill. That's probably because of leflop and obviously I've never been a fan of leJuiced.
But hey maybe I'll change my mind later on. Because right now all the hype and attention is about to be on him for no reason except the fact that he's Lebron's son.

ya, the pressure on him could end up being too much. I remember Jordan said for his sons that he thinks they had too much pressure & expectations set on them when they played in college or whatever

Lord no. I see nothing exceptional here that suggests NBA level play. He gets little elevation on his jumper. No clips of explosion or lateral movent in his step that suggests defenders have trouble staying connected with him. A really good player should look like they belong on another level 'up'. A pitcher that belongs in the big league, or a big league pitcher sent down would on that level down rack up K K K Ks. That how you know they're ready to be called up, or called back up. And the sad part is Lebron made things worse by saying he was already better than a lot of guys playing in the League. This kid is a marked man from the get go.
IF you believe he's good enough. And you really believe that then the Lakers should pick him with their first round pick. There is no consolation prize for being 'good enough to be drafted.' Least of all to a team that wants to lay claim to being a title contender as part of it's birth right. You shouldn't be here to pick guys good enough to be drafted. JHS was 'good enough to be drafted.' And I would lay odds he's got a better shot at sniffing NBA hardwood.
This is begging for ill will on your team. If he's in the G league and he's not the top scorer, rebounder, assist leader, etc. on the team AND the Lakers call him up. Teammates. Will. Be. Pissed. Pissed their hard work paid off for nothing and nepotism wins out. Veterans on other teams will hunt him out. And the hot lens coming from the fans and media will be searing. Let him have an 0-5 shooting night. Which happens. But imagine it happening to him? Every shot attempt will feel like a ton of bricks hanging on his shoulders.
IF he really wants to play in the league and on his own merits Lebron should learn lessons the Ball's father didn't. You say nothing. You stay away from his games. You don't bring him anywhere near your team. Not until he makes the league -on his own. Demonstrates he belongs there. And having demonstrated that you THEN ask for a trade etc. to play alongside your son. That's the only honorable way to approach this. Anything else will turn into a sad soap opera.

this is a very imaginative way to hate on someone, i’m impressed but disappointed
I will always want to see a player succeed and I believe there is a route that Bronny can do that so that’s where my imagination will go

    • @Dendood
      @Dendood Месяц назад

@@ZTAY I have no hate for Bronny. If a guy in a wheelchair came out to hoop and I say "he's not getting any lift on his jump shot." That's not hate. That's reality. There are two question here of import. One, should the Lakers draft Bronny? And two, is Bronny ready to play in the NBA? If I were going to heap love on them, the best case scenario I can imagine for Lebron and Bronny would be Ken Griffey's story. Absolutely no one on the planet threw shade at the Griffey's and the story of them pairing up in the twilight of Ken Griffey's career. Except in Griffey Jr's case he followed the path I mentioned in my post. Came into the league on his own. Established himself on his own. Then paired up with his father. Roses. Roses. More roses.
I ask you. You've seen Bronny play now. What do you make of Lebron's statement that Bronny is already better than a lot of guys already in the League?
When AR got picked by Lebron and AD as a rookie favorite, he got hunted down by the opposition mercilessly his rookie season. There won't be a single game on the 82 schedule where the opposing guard would not have every hair on his body standing up knowing he is about to be opposite Lebron's son. That's just reality. Sure, he may have it in him to meet the challenge and over come it.
But it would happen during a season where YOUR expectations are... just making the play in isn't good enough. Just being in the playoffs isn't enough. Just making it to the Western Conference finals isn't enough. Just losing in the Finals isn't enough.
Too much drama. He's a good kid. Let him be his own man. Make his own way. It's a mad tough league where these days being 6'3 is almost considered 'small' for a guard. Where explosive first step, mad handles and 35% from 3 are 'average' skills. Getting there with one year of college hoops under his belt AND being in the Lakers system only makes that road harder.
