Pretty hypocritical coming from someone who forced a man who was only 20 levels lower than himself and only had a shield to duel.

That's what Raphtalia meant by asking him where is his slave then, that he is a hypocrite that is in better position to help slaves but doesn't and just tried to separate her from Naofumi out of spite, she doesn't hate him to the level Naofumi does, but she does hate him, out of the 3 he is the one that is most in denial, in his mind he is the most righteous of the heroes and Naofumi is a villain, just to be proven wrong time after time, when he gets what is coming to him, not only is it deserved, but might be worse than what happens to the other 2

@@trajano777 he likes to think of himself as a ladies man but he got killed by two girls that were yandere for him before being summoned, but the main characteristic of him in the other world is that he is in denial about ecerything he disagrees with, Queen Mirellia was specially angry about this duel because she arranged for Naofumi to purchase a slave predicting Naofumi wouldn't have a group or have a reduced one because of the king, she didn't realise how low the king would stoop to, every other kingdom was angry at her kingdom for summoning all the four heroes and for smearing the reputation of one of them, if Naofumi had gone to Stilvelt like he wanted, Stilvelt would have gone to war with Melromarc and would decimate them, because the other kingdoms would either support Stilvelt or not lift one finger to help Melromarc, even worse, Myne depleted a large portion of the royal treasury on useless things.

On top of that they are technically doing this to all the heroes, no one asked to be transported there. The only reason everyone else is cool with it is they get special treatment instead of being thrown aside like garbage.

I remember dying of satisfaction when the two other heroes stepped in and asked about the interference I thought it would be completely ignored by everyone except the main cast
Motoyasu was never truly evil. He’s just shallow and doesn’t want to put the effort in to think things through. To him, Naofumi is evil and the people who defend him are either liars, being tricked or manipulated. He legitimately believed he’d be thanked for getting the slave seal removed, he thought she was being made to defend him (which given the situation wouldn’t be completely unbelievable from his perspective). But he never puts the effort in to re-evaluate or think about the people around him. It’s shown time and time again that his own side will lie, cheat and bully, but he’ll always rush to their defence and disregard all evidence. He’s reactionary and too easy to manipulate. He’ll believe the first thing he’s told and will dive in head first. It’s a good thing he wasn’t summoned with the shield, he’d be mentally broken, if not dead, within a week

I know the other two heroes don’t like Naofumi either but I’m just glad they at least respect rules and the fact that Naofumi is doing a good job. They know that Naofumi obviously won that duel and they respect how Naofumi protected a village during a raid which got Naofumi the money he deserved.

If there is at least one good thing about the sword and bow heroes, is that they call out the bull$h*t of the corrupt royal family. While all the citizens remain quiet, the other heroes are not afraid to speak out their voices, even against the king.

Myne is the main reason Naofumi starts executing all the bad guys he defeats later in LN

Motoyasu is on the ground and Naofumi above him, and then Naofumi gets mysteriously blasted to the side and Motoyasu doesn't even notice. How stupid can a guy be.
This is the only time Itsuki's sense of justice is used in a good way
Really. He’s like SUPER braindead the rest of the time. “Reprise of the Spear Hero” really shows that he’s basically as bad as S1 Motoyasu. Instead of blind trust in his friends he has blind trust in those that act nice.

The bow and sword heroes are pretty bad. The bow hero has a hero complex and only tries to solve problems through brute force and the sword hero tries too hard to be a cool loner and got his team mates killed.

@@whitenebula8417 Yeah, he has flaws but has a brain. After everything goes wrong to the Three Stooges, Ren is the only one who (after some rough counseling) make a sincere auto-analysis and truly change his ways. His redemption in the last arcs of the WN is truly great.

But at least they denounced it and recognized that Naofumi won.

Plus I can't help but feel that there's more going on with these waves then what they've been told. Or barring that it seems none of the heroes are asking the right questions. What exactly are these waves, where do they come from, when did they begin in the first place, why are these weapons necessary to combat them, who made the weapons/where did they come from, and why is it necessary to bring in complete outsiders to your world to both equip the weapons and fight your war? If this were another parallel world story I'd say I'm probably overthinking this but in this case I don't think so. Feels like there's more to this than what's on the surface and for some reason they aren't asking the important questions.

It’s surprising because none of these characters we all hate so much are going to die.
I love this scene as everyone was stopping Raphtalia from speaking her mind but she was finally able to speak out and defend Naofumi the only person to do so since he arrived.
I also grew to like the Bow and Sword Heroes a lot more from this as the Spear hero became so clouded because Myne manipulated him.
I think I need to watch this show.
