U might want to consider putting a drawer liner in the drawer that has the oils , it stains the wood pretty quickly and it's impossible to clean , so it will make ur life so much easier when u clean and protect the drawer , u can also use just a serving tray under them , or a cutting board or just a rectangular plate
I have discovered tool drawer liners... so much better than regular drawer liners.

I enjoyed watching how you organize your cabinets. I did the same but I recycle old jars instead of buying them .if u want. U could label some of them with expiration date to avoid waste of them.

It's the Canadian way of pronouncing those words. ☺️ I'm married to an American and live in the U.S and they all side eye when I say pasta and produce! 😂

I love how you put the canisters in the cabinet on their sides! I don’t have a lot of cabinet space, but that would give me enough space to make a smoothie & coffee / tea cabinet.
Best thing for organizing cupboards, pantries or kitchen shelves-Lazy Susans!!!! They are my all time favorite! Good grip makes a reasonably priced one at bed bath and beyond and they have 3 different sizes. So you can measure the depth of your shelf and use the proper size! I can fit quite a few side by side on a bookshelf I have in my kitchen I use as a pantry, and I can put 2 side by side in kitchen cabinets. After that, you can group them by type of item. For Instance: oils, vinegars, international foods,...and so on! My favorite type of organization item in my kitchen!🤍
So satisfying when things have a place! I can't wait to have my own house and be able to organize it!!! Living with roommates make that difficult lol!
But everywhere I can control I have been organizing more and decluttering!!! 🙈😁😁

You may want to try a lazy susan for oils and such. They tend to stain the wood and it makes them really accessible to see what you have

I've watched you longer than any other youtuber. Was it sarahheartssparkles? Anyways, the reason I first loved your videos was because they were relatable, we could see your skin imperfections in your makeup tutorials, and you're from BC. Since then you've evolved so much as you've grown to be an adult and i find it so inspiring. What encouraged you to live this more ethical lifestyle? I know you did a ton of research (as did I) but I keep fading in and out of what life I want to live. I think that's normal - I don't have children so I can change up whatever on a whim - but I'd really like to ALWAYS enjoy being ethical. That sounds like such a first world problem but really, I struggle!

We installed our spice drawer like that in the upper cabinets. It’s so nice not having to lean over but still have a discreet drawer specifically for spice jars. Also I would label side of jars versus on top so you can see the label! I mean, I guess you would know the difference between oats and flour by the look but then why label?
I appreciate that you didn't repackage EVERYTHING! So many videos have everything out of the original packaging, but that's not always convenient/feasable.

hi sarah, i’ve been rewatching all of your videos recently because they’re so calming and beautiful and i have to say, i know it was stressful at the time but i love the videos with the new kitchen in at least 10x more. such a great business investment as well as it being a beautiful living space. great to see you and your family thriving:)
If you're able to fit a turn table for your oils that might be handy (and fun!). Plus if there's any leakage it'll get on the turntable and not your drawers. I love how everything turned out and being able to see what you have. Makes shopping easier and yes bring your containers to bulk stores if you're able too!

I have the same Dymo labeler and I love it. One thing I do is add a space at the end to make it not almost cut off the last letter.

I used to watch the cat of my cousin and stay in there house for a week sometimes, and the labeling of the pantry is soo helpful!! Its also nice for when you come back home and you know everything is in its designated place haha

They literally have glass containers with stainless steel lids in every size imaginable at Dollar Tree and Dollarama. I bought some that fit my spaghetti, a big bag of flour, rice, pasta noodles, sugar, etc. They even have tiny ones for candies, chocolate chips, etc. Should have looked more because spending $130 for shipping plus the price you paid for those cheap plastic containers seems impulsive😬

I LOVE a well organized kitchen. Yours is beautiful. The best thing I did for my cooking was to swap out those tiny spice bottles for 250ml wide mouth mason jars. They stack and all measuring spoons fit. Another lovely video. 👏🏼

I like square/rectangular containers because they don’t waste area space like cylinders do. Do you have Oxo Pop your side of the pond? Probably not the cheapest but they are my favourite!
