Love the Ridgeline! At 67 I’ve owned trucks all my life. I enjoy this one the most. Great looks and drives like a luxury car all the truck I need in my retirement 🙂
Amen, good post. I am same age and I went from a Mercedes SUV to a 2022 Ridgeline and liked it a lot. For some reason in 2023 I got it in my head that I wanted an F150 4X4 V8 and while I get great gas mileage and power from the F150 I miss the car like manners of the Ridgeline and the ability to reach what’s in the bed and the in-bed trunk was great. I’m waiting to see the 2025 Ridgeline and I’ll probably be back.

I’m 73, retired, and have already scaled back to a smaller boat; don’t need to full size truck anymore. It’s my understanding that Ridgeline towing capacity is 5000 lbs, and my total boat trailer motor etc is under 4000, so I’m good to go. Shopping online as I write this….
@jayrobertson232 congratulations on your new Honda Ridgeline

Just got my 2025 Ridgeline. Is there a way to deactivate the horn when you use the walkaway feature. I'm ok with a beep but the horn is a little too much. Like your video! Thanks.
Do you know what the lock is for that is in the glove box with the break cables. Thanks for the video. I just bought one. p.s. I'm having a little trouble with the remote start, will you have a video on that or more features?
I have to see the button again that's inside the glove box. Most of my walk-around video share how to enable remote start. If the vehicle has it, you can also disable remote start in the vehicle settings.
@SandbaggerJoe for the two seat memory, yes. I appreciate your support 🙏 and congratulations on your new Honda Ridgeline. I'll have more videos to come. Didn't know about the last one. If someone entered your vehicle wouldn't they now have the fob to drive it away or does manually locking with the key somehow prevent it from being started? Personally, I use a HitchSafe vault with RFID shielding to store the fob with the truck when I need to.
My wife’s 2024 Odyssey will very routinely make that noise as if they’re in the car, and they’re not. You have to constantly go open a door and shut it hard enough before it goes thru the locking. always afraid it isn’t locking at night.
My wife has the same situation.. she keeps her fob inside her huge purse 👛 and it's sometimes buried to the point that the vehicle can not always sense or locate the fob, so it notified you to double check before it locks up.
Hey Chris, I have a 2025 Ridgeline Black Edition. One thing I have noticed is that when I get in my truck in the morning it takes about 5 minutes for the air to start coming out of the front vents when I have it in Auto. My salesman is not sure why. I went to my local Honda Dealer (I bought mine in Athens GA) and he told me that was Honda. I told him my Mercedes senses the temp in the car and immediately starts adjusting the temperature in the cabin. He said not to compare the Honda to a Mercedes that most cars like Toyota, etc take a minute for the controls to start working. Is that true?
So when I approach m y 2023 Ridgeline with key fob in my pocket 3 of the 4 doors will unlock automatically leaving the rear passenger door on the drivers side locked? How do I fix this so all doors unlock at the same time?
I'm not sure why it would do this because you have two options under vehicle settings > door setup > All doors or driver door only I have a vehicle settings video showing all them
For the Walk Away Lock setting, one important fact is that this setting is tied to the key fob in use when the setting change is made. I discovered that My Driver 2 fob worked, but my wife's Driver 1 fob did not because it needed to be programmed separately.
i wish they had active cruise that went right down to a full stop instead of kicking off at 22 MPH...my 2020 does it and I just test drove a 2025 and it does the same thing around 20MPH...My son's Honda CIVIC!!! goes to zero but a 47K car/truck doesn't....come on Honda
Had a 2019, just picked up a 2025 Black edition, finally vented seats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great content, I learned a couple tricks, thanks!!! 😁😁
@evancontos2267 congratulations on your new Honda. Yes, finally, front ventilated seats, but only on the black edition trim

I like that it is still available in a naturally aspirated 3.5L V6 unlike some manufacturers.
Great video CHC! The Ridgeline is underrated. Thank you CHC!
It sure is!

Thanks for watching
The final assembly is here in Murica 🇺🇸

I don't know how to lock the glove box remotely, but you can do it manually by separating the key from the key fob and locking it that way!
I think you misunderstood. It's in a bag that comes with the car. It's all good though never mind...😊
does the Ridgeline recognize the DRIVER 1 and 2 key fob thank you good clipe

For the last one... they can only access the vehicle if they break in or have the key to unlock.
Does the hidden trunk have electric locks or key only?
It has a button for release which you may see on one of my walkaround video. You can also lock it with a key if needed.
Nice suv
Thanks 👍

The Sport and RTL trims do NOT have LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL).

Good tips, but one question: does locking the tailgate also require flipping a switch somewhere in the glovebox?
No it does not for the tailgate

Another hidden feature people tell me if you put the ac on max it’ll turn off the auto start stop
That's correct, the Idle stop won't engage if the cabin is not to set temperature. Thanks for watching
it identifies as a truck lol
