Lancaster is OK but they lost one of their local attractions which closed down a couple of years ago. The Lancaster Jet Hawks were the only minor league baseball team in Los Angeles County. The team was disbanded, not because of any actions of the local leaders or lack of support from the fans, but because MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred doesn't like Los Angeles. It's too bad because games at the Hangar were fun events.
Would you say just as bad as LA? As someone wanting to move there because i only go to the office in LA 2x a week i love the affordability of Lancaster
@@retributionalhazard8626not at all. Especially if you move to the westside, you’ll only hear of domestic crime, eastside of Lancaster you’ll see some gang crime but if you want a good experience avoid the east side of the 14 fwy.
@@pedroprieto6885Very true. I grew up in the AV in the 80's and 90's. Back then it was safe to cross over east of the 14 freeway. There used to be a Blockbuster Video on Palmdale Blvd and like 20th E and it was a very safe area, even for families. I visited 2 years ago some old friends in Palmdale and I have to say I feared for my life driving the same streets I grew up on. It was very sad to me, it's like the old AV I once knew has died some years ago and now it's a nightmare. Violence, crime and gangs are everywhere even on the west side. I recommend avoiding the AV all together.
Yeah, I moved to Lancaster 6 years ago and I’ve seen the city grow, from new restaurants, car dealerships, hotels, new affordable communities, and so on. Yes, City still needs to improve but you won’t see a skid row in Lancaster.
As living in Lancaster ca right now it is a great city in overall love the schools love that their is no trash kind of love the parks and most of all love my home and also we’re the jet hawks use to play they are building a soccer stadium there
CAP!!! Lancaster has like 126% more crime than the national average haha if you walk off of that blvd your gonna get robbed or jumped . The only parts that dont have alot of crime are towards quartzhill but not too far into qaurtzhill or it gets ratchet again . The mayor doesnt even live out here .
What town Near Edwards AFB DOESN'T have high crimes and tons of meth heads/bums? Im looking at taking a job there but can't find a place to live that isn't bad.
Yep i work with people from Lancaster in Santa Clarita they are friendly but i am not into hat or sign thing. Thinking about living there. But the heat something else. I remember my friend talking about the reporter Sheba Turk back his native New Orleans on television.
The key take away is "diversity" aka crime and gangs. Rex Parris is a nut job. I was just there a month ago. 12 people murdered in 3 days including cartel style job in neighboring Adelanto. Visited the "boulevard" it was empty except for junkies looking for section 8 housing and peeing in back allys. Not the place i remember from my childhood when there was only one or two murders per year.

Lancaster is like Hell but hotter.....and thats the nicest thing i can say about this place....
True
More like 70 miles from downtown LA 😂. 45 miles ? Way off
Yeah me and my buddy drove to Santa Monica yesterday and it was 69 miles.
If there was a freeway directly through the Angeles forest it would be about 50miles .
Nice report, thank you. +1

"new affordable communities,"
i.e. crime infested ghetto's
Lancaster’s skid row is behind the McDonalds at Avenue I & 10th St West. Small tent city there
@@KristinaBlaylock there isn't a giant tent city out in the desert off avenue h and tenth anymore?

Ruuuunnn!!! 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️
Fah fah away!!! I left in 1999. Whew. Sorry Rex. Just had to say that.
It definitely looks more different new stuff being added and the crime has gone down

You couldn't even see her face lol 😂
lol that area is sketchy af id always be walking around there by the blvd once its dark tweakers come everywhere and youll probably get robbed
It's very dangerous now. I will never go back let alone raise my kids there.
Is this for real ..land scatter? Landisaster? Why do you like Lancaster, ice cream lol😂
Nah bro lancaster sucks

Beautiful 😂😂😂😂 crime, crime and more crime!
A once cool place to love, until all the rift raft from L.A. looking for affordable housing moved up.
Politicians ( in this case king Rex) and diapers should be change often and fot he same reason.
It don't matter what this report says about Lancaster; is a sh**hole everywhere.
It never used to be that way. It was very nice growing up there in the 80's and 90's but I will never go back.
um... why the hell is 1/3 of her head shaved? WTF is wrong with California?
Lol
So cal one big city in the dying desert 🏜 😂
