  • another stage of my #MakeUpReset is done! I thought I wasn't a blush person...
    - note: I keep some products that are obviously over their "use by" timeline, but these are for personal use only - and I keep track of what not to borrow to friends. I get rid of anything that has changed texture, colour or scent, of course, since those are obvious giveaways that the preservative system has definitely subsided.
all the products that don't get to be relocated to new homes will be emptied out, their components will be separated and recycled as much as possible.

:: MY SKIN, for reference: shamelessly over 40, combination and oilier in the hot months, seldom prone to dehydration. I have (very tame, atm) hormonal acne (The Beard), and hyperpigmentation/melasma on my cheeks. It can develop sensitivity to specific products, but it's been overall pretty resilient for a long time (e.g.: I use exfoliating acids and retinoids together daily without any problem).
    Sunscreen is NEVAH optional.

:: Treatments: I’m doing Pico Laser for hyperpigmentation issues and Ultraformer III on the lower area of my face to regain/maintain some firmness.

Well done :)... due to my light rosacea i am not that much of a blush person. I am more of a skin care maniac. However mascara , eye pencil and bronzer are my go to makeup itens. Love to see your decluters, always informative and good vibes. :)

Funnily enough, blush is supposedly not my Achilles heel, and I struggle A LOT with other products. But seeing how many I've hoarded throughout the past years makes me question my whole existence 😅

This is a great video! I found in you my cool-blush-shades-with-oily-skin twin! Thanks to you I discovered two new blushes (and shades) hat make it to my wishlist. Fenty freestyle blush in drama class was my HG purple shade -- emptied it and now it's discontinued, of course.

I remember seeing that launch and swooning over it... I never got to try it, though :/ too bad it's discontinued... what's with this cancelling of cool toned blushes?! 😅

I wanted a nudish blush from that MAC's Glow Play line and I got Blush, Please. I didn't get the So Natural because it looked too peach or something on my skin, even though many people seem to like it. Blush, Please is may be a bit pinkish but you might like it, too.

I tried loving the milk makeup blush so hard, I have the shade werk. I just have to go super heavy handed with it for the pigment to show 🥲

Oh, that’s a bummer. On me it does show, but the undertones are a bit off, it makes my skin look a bit too red/with inflammation

Love your personality! Is that stunning purple Colourpop named Sounds Grape? I must have it. Now I want to find a purple lilac blush. I might try juicy pang as they have purple lilac options.

The Colour Pop Super Shock Cheek that I had was called Rain. It’s pretty old and they keep discontinuing stuff, so they may have another iteration of the type, but it feels they’ve been just putting out mostly peachy pinks for ages.
Love me a lilac blush, if you find a good one don’t forget to share ;)

Look for the Kylie Blush in 'Winter Kissed', that could be a nice dupe to your beloved Benefit blush.
I love, love, live this blush 😊
It is actually hard to find cool toned blushes without orange, peach or coral.... i only wear cool tones.... hard times for me.... nearly every release is somehow orange, peach, glittery or peewarmgold, or rosegold.... do'nt like it...
    Greetings from Germany

Thanks for the tip, I'll look it up. I haven't delved into Kylie's products, but I'm up for anything if I can get my pretty lilac blush back 😅
I have the same issue: although I'm a brunette and supposedly peachy roses and oranges would suit me the best, I really prefer cool toned pops of colour. and most blushes, even if supposedly "neutral" go peachy on my skin tone. the struggle is real!
thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment ❤

I really wanted Dante's dream... let's see if they repackage or reformulate the blushes and how they come up :)
