When I was little I saw a geode that had water inside. They carefully cut away a slice of the exterior to leave a window so you could see into it without releasing the water, which you could also see. It was way out of my price range, and I haven't seen anything like it since. But every time someone cracks a geode and water splashes out, my heart breaks.
Mate it's alright it's just water. The water you drink everyday is millions of years old.

''Dude uncovers ancient super virus in geode water - News at 11.''
Could have never know but pretty cool also. Fountain of youth lol
Viruses are aliens that come in on meteorites from outer space. They don’t occur anywhere naturally, hence why their aliens. It’s ok 99.9 % of humans are uneducated on this matter.
When has something like that ever happened? Exactly
A man drank water from a geode. This is what happened to his jaw
@@murrijuana2842 There's actually areas with permafrost where it's extremely illegal to dig because there are ancient corpses under the frost that could have some kind of new pathogen we wouldn't have the ability to fight off, because our immune system would have never seen anything like it before. Effectively, digging up a body like that could easily turn into a mass extinction event. So uncovering an ancient super virus is not out of the question!
However, any pathogens would most likely die in a geode, especially viruses (who don't live for very long and can't reproduce without a host). Extremely ancient bacteria that could cause an unknown illness COULD be in there, but unless he ingests the ancient river water (or snorts it, or drops it in his eyes, or injects it into his bloodstream), he wouldn't get infected.

That geode had a baby.
I think the fact that you touched water that’s been hidden away for millions of years is cooler than the geode itself. I wonder if the water in geodes can be useful for research.
That is a very fun thought. So enhydro geodes from this locality have been studied before but with so many people wanting to see it under the scope on another platform I will be getting slides made of the next one.
Assuming it takes millions of years is not wise nor fits the scientific method.
It is known that stalactites and stalagmites, diamonds, fossilization /petrification, oil formation, ice layers, and sedimentary rock layers do not require millions of years to form.
