Honestly, I'd watch them all. Elijah is amazing and I love everything that he's done and on top of that, this is probably the best movie trailer I've seen in a long time. I'm actually EXCITED about this movie

I was thinking similar. I also love that Hunt for the Wilderpeople has the 'Lord of the Rings' scene while this film has Elijah Wood.

Elijah Wood is criminally underrated. He's done some great work over the years and has chosen some interesting projects. Plus he's great in interviews and always comes across as a positive, upbeat and friendly person.
He is not underrated. He's been a famous actor since he was a child. He was the lead of one of the biggest movies of all time, Return of the King, and it swept the Oscars. Give me a break lol.
Check out 'Chain of fools' from 2000.
I saw it on cable when it came out and got the DVD.
He's funny af in it and not many people have even heard of this movie. A hidden gem for sure

This movie kinda reminds me of “Hunt for the Wilder people”. Or “The Peanut Butter Falcon”. I have seen these two movies DOZENS of times because they always make me laugh when I’m feeling down❤❤❤

I get it, but at the same time I feel like they're purposely going to a lot of Lord of the Rings locations for this film, like the river they run across looks like the one Aragorn charges over before they get to Lothlorien. Still, Elijah isn't making me think of Frodo. What a charming dichotomy.

This certainly looks interesting, but I am personally really tired of "absent dad makes good" movies. It'd be really nice to see more films with actually good fathers, because they exist.
I agree, I think Hollywood could actually celebrate a straight couple with kids in a good marriage from time to time but they have agendas to push.

You don’t tell stories about normal, well-adjusted people, because then nothing happens in the movie. Stories are about conflict. Not always literal conflict, since “man vs. himself” is sometimes just about personal growth.
If there are “actually good fathers” in a film, the film isn’t about them being actually good fathers. That’s just background to whatever the actual plot of the film is.
