As a Ghanaian man living overseas, your channel has helped me a lot. As a result, when I saw the opportunity to return the favor, I decided to grab it by the throat. Here it is. After cooking the pasta, I saw you put the strainer in the kitchen sink, strained the pasta, and allowed the hot water go down the sink. That’s a no no for hot water coming straight off of the fire. It slowly melts the o-rings in the plumbing tubings under the sink. Over time, the o-rings will lose the strength and water will start draining from the tubes under your kitchen sink. You don’t want that. You can either put the strainer in a bigger bowl to collect the hot water or you can run your cold water while the hot water goes down the drain, to reduce the temperature. Anyways, just a little something I got from experience and wanted to pass on.
, with a plastic bowl inconveniently placed there to catch the leak, and I see that the joint of the sink to the pipe has come loose and a bit rusted. I'm waiting for my managent to send the plumber to come and release me out of my misery. Thanks a lot for ur lesson. Who said social media is all bad?!

Well, I'm guilty of running the hot water from cooking, and now my sink is leaking underneath.
@@rainbow3649 You're correct. Social media is not all bad. And regarding the plumbing under the kitchen sink, the worse is hot oil. When we fry our fish or chicken, please please please don't pour the used hot oil straight down the kitchen sink. That will instantly kill the plumbing tubbings under the sink. Let it cook down first. If you're in a hurry to clean up, just put some ice cubes in it till temperature drastically drops.
Aunty whenever I use non stick pans for jollof, it ends up with a mixture of rice some not cooked and some well cooked so I always end up using nonstick pans. Please how do I deal with it cause I want to master using nonstick pans for all cooking
