Fentynal poisoning is not an overdose.
Appreciate your efforts but please stop calling it “overdosing”. If it is Fentanyl, it is a “poisoning”. And all too often, it is a naive teen, not an addict, looking to escape anxiety or something of the like, who thinks they’re buying Xanax or Percocet, yet it is Fentanyl and they are tragically killed.

Start slow, low and have a sober friend, what a crock, it’s like you’re giving these people permission to do drugs. What happened to just say NO. If someone chooses to do drugs they should be prepared for the consequences. They have nothing to fear when normal citizens are walking around with Narcan.

It's so sad that pain patients can't get any relief anymore. Legal, regulated opioid prescriptions have been cut by 60%, while people still need surgery and have accidents. Our doctors have abandoned the principle of non-maleficence, and are driving the demand for illicit fentanyl.
And it costs a fortune for all of the drug screens and appointments!

After I saw someone drop like a fly at the gas pump AND a friend did what she thought was coke and started falling asleep I ALWAYS carry narcan in my purse and my car bc it traumatized me especially when the lady the guy at the gas pump was with didn’t even try to help him she was otp w/her friend and hiding their needles I was pissed like call 911 wtf I’m literally doing cpr!! Ugh it was awful

I had my doctor write me an RX. I’m a first responder due to my career. I don’t work with a squad anymore but wanted to carry it in case I saw someone in need. My copayment was $38. You might be able to get it at a fire station or police department.

To those that stated that this was not an overdose that it was a poisoning. So are you saying that taking drugs of this sort is normal? Every time you take one of these drugs off the street. You’re taking your life into your own hands. So don’t glorify it by saying oh it wasn’t an overdose. It was a poisoning. It was a little bit of colt and column, but let’s just keep it real.
