please let us not forget the great space you found under your kitchen which has to be renovated too. so many options, as i can remember it was a rather large space, we all wait for this renovation too.
Please keep us watching your life in Italy. Your apartment is lovely and we don't want these episodes to end. Now to your experiences in this great town!
A treasure in beautiful Italy created by you and your team. Dedication. Creative. Cozy. A place to unwind and enjoy an Americano on the terrace. Magic. Mama Mia!
Julie, I've been following your Italian transformation since Spring 2021. You and your team and family have done an outstanding job not only with the transformation of this home but bringing a piece of Tuscany to all of us so thank you for that! You seamlessly include your audience in the process, always open to ideas. May you and yours enjoy this home for years to come!! The only slight changes to your kitchen I might have considered would be painting the cabinet bases to match the doors, to create greater contrast between cabinets and countertops/sink and to reduce the linearity the white creates. Secondly, your hutch color gets somewhat washed out against the white walls. At the same time I understand that what we see on camera may not reflect the real feel.
Coastal Florida is watching and enjoying. Your Vlog is part of my recovery from working as a Hospice nurse through covid. Grateful for every little thing……………Still working as a nurse.
Have so enjoyed every step of your Little House Renovation. You have cleverly created home from home but with an unmistakable Italian twist. Well done and enjoy👏👍
Also thank you for mentioning womens mental health and sharing your own story 🙏 mamy believe because u live this larger than life life.. u must be perfect and ecstatic 247 ... God bless you Julie u realpy are an aristocratic for the people 🎉 u are precious ❤️ 💖
Julie is super woman ! All the things she does. This woman is definitely a woman to admire . What a lovely job Julie and everyone who made this little house into a gorgeous home for Julie and her family and friends. Just beautiful❤
It’s charming, I especially like the main, pinkish, bedroom. I would add a partial shade cover, maybe a wood or metal pergola, to the terrace. Then you could train potted vines like grapes, bougainvillea or jasmine, over the pergola for shade and more greenery and flowers or fruit. Italy gets so hot that I think some shade would be welcome there on hot days. Do you have someone to water your olive trees and other plants while you’re not there? Olive trees don’t need a lot, but all plants need some water, at least weekly. Great job, Julie, it’s hard to believe it’s been five years since you bought the place, it seems like a lot less.
Just a little tip, if you shorten the curtain wires by a centimetre or less in the kitchen the curtains won't dip in the middle as they do now. Such a lovely, cosy house! Well done. 🎉
I love that in the throw away society that we live in now, you've made upcycling not only fun but practical and beautiful. Your home is a cozy little haven that is both charming and inviting!!! Keep up the good work.
I've thoroughly enjoyed watching your journey as you renovated your tiny Italian home. You have exquisite taste and a talent for piecing all the various elements together. Brava!
When you were hesitating where the long rug came from I was saying Selency.. 😊 thank you for letting us become so familiar with your beautiful Italian home 😍😂
Turned out well considering you couldnt be there all the time to work on it! Worth the wait. Consider switching out the kitchen and livingroom sofas. I think the lighter color would work well in the kichen, darker in the living. Very cottage looking finished result and blending of England, France and Italy looks. Bellissimo!
I first started following your channel after seeing one of your first videos about the italian house. Gosh, its been 4/5 years already? It turned out very nice. Hope you're enjoying it!
You've turned your little Italian house into a wonderful place to escape to and unwind from all the busyness in your daily life. Italy is on my bucket list. One day...😊 🇮🇹
@@AmericanViscountess I think among many reasons I watch your videos besides picking up knowledge is your Passion , It shines through,. Thanks again and keep up the great work,Your Brilliant !
Viscountess great to see the journey on the restoration and renovation on the Italian Manor, looking forward to your explorations in the areas to discover more about the history. Thank you and God Bless 😇🙏
At the time you purchased this beautiful house I was about to leave for Munich then Venice, Verona and Rome. Then in Feb/March of 2020 I was advised that if travelled I may not be allowed to come home to Oz. Needless to say I cancelled and having said that, I have lived my Italian experience vicariously through your little Italian house videos.. Yes I know you are in Tuscany and I was going nowhere near there, but still it is Italy. Another favourite was the book that was left at the antique yard, a karma moment. The house is stunning by the way.
Julie nice video and good explanation regarding history of different Castlel,Palaces and your family history. Julie your house in Italy is very beautiful.
Quite a while back you gave us a brief glimpse of a basement space in your little Italian house. I don't recall ever seeing anything else about it. Will you be developing it?
It came together beautifully! It's been fun watching from the beginning. Would love to know the name of the market IL Piccolo something I couldn't understand the last word. Also Malcom would be a great resource for someone renovating in Northern Tuscany

I would be interested what was the total spending incl. House purchase and renovation work. I have the idea to do something similar in this area and have currently no feeling for the necessary budget
Aside from the deals on furniture and decorations and doing certain things yourself, how did you afford the renovations with all the costs of maintaining and restoring all the buildings and items at Mapperton?

yes that will happen but not until 2025. xx
Yes I am waiting for that too
I think i have watched all videos of this house reno now wishing for that area
@@AmericanViscountess Malcolm will have enough time to rethink -:)
The wonderful result is that you've renovated it while keeping it "traditional".
Chapeau! 👏
A great finished little Italian house. Beautiful job, Julie

Just lovely, but I liked the 1st color, it was a light-mustered yellow in the hall versus the grey you now have.

Might you consider a privacy screen along the terrace to obscure yourselves directly from your neighbours?
Aside from the deals on furniture and decorations and doing certain things yourself, how did you afford the renovations with all the costs of maintaining and restoring all the buildings and items at Mapperton?
What did you do under the stairs eventually?
