All the crazy antics aside, Ike is 1 of the most knowledgeable people in fishing, and the best part is he's willing to and does share his knowledge with anyone who is willing to listen.
Crazy how good they work for striped bass too. If you are a striper saltwater fisherman, Ben Parker’s flutter spoon is a must have in your tackle box. Deadly on the jig on bunker pods
Outstanding information and video Mike. Really appreciate the tips and advice that you are putting out. Can't wait to see you on the water fishing again!
Pre drop shot I caught most of the fish that I caught in more than 20ft of water was on a spoon regardless of the water temperature. Great bait for bass and all game fish!
Thanks for the advice! I've been throwing spoons all over, but have only managed to catch walleye and trout on them. Might be able to get on a cold water spoon bass or two now 👍🏻
Great content! I've not done a lot of flutter spoon fishing so this helps. If we can ever cross the border again, I can see some applications for those lakes with lake trout. Question for those of you that have been doing this for a while - how are you tying the spoon to the line? Do you use the split ring or remove it and go with a loop knot?
I think im gona try a big flutter on lake george thru the ice for those monster lake trout.....i usually use a white tube but i think theyll eat the flutter also
Great Video Brother! Your Brother from another mother needs some technical advice! I am looking for some guidance and recommendations on sunglasses for fishing clear, stained, and muddy water! MUCH love and Happy New Years!
Great video..I've never fished a spoon, but as luck would have it, my daughter got me one for Christmas..I'll be trying it out very soon..thanks! #neverendthesend
I apologize if you covered this in the video, I had to step out for a minute in the middle so I may have missed it. How do you prevent line twist when using flutter spoons? I've all but given up on using them because either I have to use a barrel swivel to a leader, which I hate doing for bass fishing OR I end up with nasty line twist after a few minutes of casting
I’d love to fish willow grove parvin or Union with u mike, I live on Malaga lake and I always keep my eyes peeled for your boat 🚣♀️🤣 love the info in your videos!
“How To Spoon Winter Bass” would have for sure given me a different mental picture. Good choice on the video title.
He makes me feel like im in school again lol his emphasis on his explanations reminds me of a teacher, good stuff!

💯 Truth!! I've done well on spoons with Stripers!
Hello Mike I fish the metal spoons 🎣 year around at my local fishing pier
That magnetic keeper is awesome
Thanks for the instructional video. Best one I have seen so far.

By God! That was a great class.. Thanks Mike 🙏🙏
Gonna give that a shot in Feb.
when shad are dying the try to swim to the top, then flutter down, they keep doing this until they die and go to the bottom.
Nice info from the man the myth the legend
Awesome, I have been hammering the bass in lay downs with livescope and a hand tied 1/8 oz crappie jig. Will definitely try the spoon.
Loved this series

Fishing in Louisiana in the marsh, not a lot of use for ot here. But I am gonna try ot when head to Arkansas in a few weeks. Thanks Ike

I’ll try it. Thanks ike thanks
Should I put a swivel hook to the eye to give more action or is that a bad idea

I somehow missed those other metal lure videos. Can you link those to this video. Thank you. Happy new year
Magnets a legit concept 🤘🏼What’s the fowl up rate with the hooks on the negative flutter?

Not sure where Ike gets his spoons with the nice colors but TW only shows 4 choices. Great video and content.
What is the best knot to tie for the spoon
If the “dual assist” treble comes thru cover better and has “just as good a hook up percentage”, why not use that ALL the time?
Awesome info
Great tips! God is good! Give Him the glory!
Truth!! Thanks for watching!!

Should’ve been a 4 part with a jigging spoon. Probably caught more winter fish than Flutter spoon.
But very good information 👍🏻🎣
I will say a spoon does catch Red Fish in the marsh but not this type that I'm aware of. Thx
Mike needs a shirt that just says "on semi slack line" lol

Add a small, I mean small barrel swivel to the split ring

Like Mike ! If I could be like IKe!
Legend 🏆
I use spoon all year round
What I want to know is how you catch fish with that rubber chicken behind you.
I wish they made spoons shaped like a french willow blade
i used it one time and caught a crappie
