It would be a good idea, though a shame that Chloe would not think to do it on her own. Almost has me concerned enough for her to eventually take the Suisei route; Chloe might drop the squeaky high-pitched loli voice, and go with her natural one instead for the sake preventing any serious damage to her vocal cords.
Whenever this "fake voice" subject comes up, I always think that, most likely, fans won't care about which voice a Vtuber uses as long as she feels comfortable with it, and keeps being her true self. At the end of the day, the voice it's just the medium, not the content. Also, it's getting quite common that Vtubers start to damage their voices at the long term, and end up having to rest from streaming, go to doctor, abandoning the fake voice (like Suisei), having to undergo vocal surgery, or worst case scenario, even retiring. So, if they want to have long careers, I think that just using their most natural voices should always be the right choice.
I would say to start with voice is one of their strongest selling points especially in JP. Over time I agree dropping it makes sense for comfy or healthy reasons, but the way you phrase it is like voice degradation must be some sort of eventuality which isn't true at all.

It may be slower or faster (only depends on how you take care of your voice), but aging is inevitable, and our voices degrade over time, especially to people who work with their voices (like Vtubers, singers or casters)

I am AMEzed of Holomembers that can have different voice pitches like Suisei, Kanata, Bae etc... it's really a powerful ability you can have. Sooner or later we will get used to Chloe's real or other voices. Also in that Collab I was having difficulty differentiating Iroha and Chloe.

I guess with voice acting you have to learn to speak in many different voices. It amazes me that these girls can keep up their voices for hours on end without losing them. I think the biggest example of this for me was the MiKorone 24 hour stream. I know for a fact that their on-screen voices are NOT their normal voices and the fact that Miko can keep up that voice at all boggles my mind. When she speaks normally she actually has a very pleasant and easy to understand voice.
