Their styles are far different. Boll has his own tactics which is unique. The top chinese players (ma long, xu xin, fan zhendong) train with sparring partner whose tries to imitate bolls playing style because its the key to voctory. Jun mizutani plays agressive but at soon he is under pressure he turns in to a georgeous defense. He plays very well from a bit behind the table.
Mitzutsani needs go down the lines alot more when playing Boll. He doesn't have the power to go through Boll diagonally so he need to find more uncomfortable placement.
