Talking about Max Martin and not referring to a Swedish legend like ABBA is beyond me.......
ABBA has left a global footprint in pop history that is impossible to ignore. Every single act coming from Sweden since the mid 70's has something to do with ABBA, since Harpo to Army of Lovers, to Roxette, to The Cardigans, to Robyn, to Ace of Base, to Avicci......
ABBA master minds Benny and Bjorn never got to produced an international artist, but they've been covered by so many that we can have a bit of what ABBA would've sounded like in others' artists styles: The Carpenters- Thank You for the Music, Information Society- Lay all your Love on Me, Barbra Streisand- I know Him so Well, Whitney and Cissy Houston- I know him so well, Dionne Warwick- Thank you for the Music, Red Hot Chilli Peppers- SOS, U2- Dancing Queen, and so on and on and on......
