@@SallysSpeedShop I hear that but on mine the guy that I got it from had cut the support frame off on both sides and mounted a dually axle in there instead along with putting plywood on the top which only rusted it out more
Nice work. That rust treatment makes for a nice looking truck frame. Suggestion: A little more lighting on your filming subjects would make it easier for your audience to see what you're working on. Even something simple like a magnetic work light would help a lot, I think.
cracking progress, and your usual endless supply of enthusiasm for your projects. Would love to see some more on either of the Hornets, any plans for them?
Question, you bring so much junk home why would you junk a running 350. You could ether have someone replace the old seals or just do it yourself and then when you bring home junk your not sure that you want to dump a lot of money into you could just drop the old freshened up 350 into it and then you'll have a runner that you can ether keep or pass along to someone else.
Moby is the best supervisor!! A/C will be nice.
I actually seen this finished on mortske's Chanel so I had to watch the build
Looking a lot better after cleaning it
Most definitely!
I had the exact same bed that came from a truck that I scrapped out. They are way cool.
It’s one of the coolest service beds I’ve ever encountered

The Black Out rust annihilator looks like a lifetime supply. A lil dab'l'do ya. Watching the build up process is going to be fun.
It goes a long way! I did a ton on this truck as well as some other projects and only used that first quart
Great progress
I just got a 6.0last week interested in this build big time. Nice
Oh nice! The 6.0s are great! I have one in the Elco
The truck is looking good 👍👍🇨🇱
Thank you!
Great video. Every one gets a little better. I love your dad's shirts and his quotes! "May the fifth be with you" Classic dad joke!
That work bed you have is an old Bell Telephone truck bed, hence the mint green color.. I'm an old retiree of Bell Tel...
Yes sir! You're spot on, someone on Instagram educated me on that one
Love this build man! Solid truck. 👍
It needs a Fiero in tow haha
Great Work Dude and to think this truck handled Power Tour right after this!!
Not bad for a 2 month build! Thanks for watching!
Great video, love the conversion on squarebodys. And am jealous as my state won't allow unless it's a pre 97 diesel.
Thank you! That's a bummer for sure...
Great vid as always. Loving the truck man.

It's super nice stuff! I definitely need a lighting set up because the GoPro struggles in low light for sure
Your dad does love his Japanese safety boots (flip flops)😅
I'd love to give my C1500 short bed an overhaul like this at some point. One day!
well done start it... what is gonna happen to the old 350??
Turns out it’s a 305. It’s still sitting in the corner of the shop for now
@@SallysSpeedShop wut!?? look like the "5" jump over the zero,, 😆
Need it?
@@timdavis_365 not really, I have 1985 caprice wagon and Planing to upgrade the 305, to 350 or 5.7 LS. thanks though
You got to have light 💡 underneath the truck to see what you doing
Yeah, I definitely need to add a light to the camera rig 👍🏼 I’m learning as I go with the GoPro I use.
Good 👍
🔥🔥🔥
🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Thanks for sharing the build process. It takes a lot. That bug makes the Camaro look small Haha
Especially with the front sheet metal off of it!
I wish he would sponsor my build I had to buy the sauce I need the frame paint
The frame paint is well worth the money! I was one of the people helping promote it when it first came out 👍🏼
Constant quality content makes me very happy. Keep up the honest work and more resources will come your way. Love the Truck.
Thank you my friend! 🙌🏼
Iys hard to comment on this video seeing how anyone who kept up with power tour knows the outcome of the c10 lol! Still love the square body 👍
Yeah… I didn’t quite have time to edit and build it in the short time I did 😅 Thank you though!
Instead of a spacer just cut half an inch off the bracket and re weld it 👍👍
No talk as you are doing the work you will get more done, but keep the good work going.
That's a good tip. I almost need someone holding the camera for that to work super well
Anyone who questions you washing down this truck when it's all apart has never tasted 40+ year old grease... It's not good, reeeeallly not good!
Haha yeah, 40 year old grease is far from my favorite flavor 😅
@@SallysSpeedShop Still tastes better than 40 year old gas, or 50 year old diesel engine oil! haha 😆
A shop is never fully cleaned

Nice video shame about to much talking.
Should I just work without explaining what I’m doing? Constructive criticism is always appreciated! Thanks for watching!

It’s still sitting in the shop, I very rarely haul anything even moderately useful to the scrap yard
I have just unsubscribed form u as u chat more than my ex wife and get nothing done on camera And that just bores me to death sorry but its true
