Is this something that could be passed down to my grandkids? 50 years for now, let's see how it works. I have m my great grandfather's shotgun works like a charm.
Big question. The less than clear manual shows a gas block O-ring somewhere in line behind the split rings. Your video does not show this either. It comes without said O-ring installed right out of the box. So is this ring in my parts bag necessary and if so exactly where should it be placed ?
In reassembly, what does the buttstock screw/plate actually screw into? The screw is slightly smaller than the hole in the plate and there is nothing in the buttstock for it to screw into. There is no screw receptacle in the buttstock so it would simply float.
Purchased the stormtrooper it came with a white pistol grip cover. Can anyone give me insight on what and where do I find parts to install the white pistol grip.Thanks.
I have a problem with removing the barrel shroud. I have twisted both ways as hard as I could and cannot get it to come off. Is there some special trick to it? It will twist approx 1/4 inch and stop. Brand new, shot a box of 00 buck 2 3/4 inch shells to break in and cannot get the barrel shroud off to clean. Any suggestions?
I'm new to the gun game so my question will come off dumb lol I live in Cali and for dove season would a VR80 shotgun from Rock Island Armory be a good shotgun to use? Or would it be better to go with a regular pump shotgun? Honestly want this specific shotgun for the looks but if I could use it for other things like hunting its more of a plus for me but if not then I'll go a different path and get it later on. Thanks in advance to anyone answering my question!
This is the firearm's community equivalent of "two shots of vodka". He had to rip that charging handle out with the force of at least three silver back gorillas.
Is it me or do I find stripping my weapon down to clean thoroughly relaxing and therapeutic? 😅
No, your not alone in that idea!
Absolutely not alone
I bought the VR80 and it’s beautiful, I highly recommend it for the range or home security. Not your regular shotgun. This is the SHOTGUN!!! 👍🏼♥️
This is the single best dissemble VR80 video I have seen. Thank you so much for this.
Very good instruction. Clear and easy to see. Thank You!
I'm getting a vr80 this week. Thanks
Clear and concise.
Very nice breakdown video
Love it. Makes it so easy to pull down.

Which ring comes already installed? The "light" ring or the "heavy" ring ?

How do you remove the charging handle retention pin?

Is the silver light or heavy load ring supposed to move slightly or is it supposed to be fixed?
If you disassemble the buffer tube how far should you thread it back in. All the way till it’s stop or do you back it off a bit? Anyone know?
You can thread to where it stops threading ( don't force ) then back off and line the buffer tube up. Then tighten down the castle nut.
Make sure your end plate is flush, it fits one way.
Also highly recommend the full length handguard for better hand placement.
What about buffer tube..How far do you thread the buffer tube in.
Awesome 🤩 love it
Where do I order a replacement split ring ?

I have both. Can't go wrong
The shroud on the stormtrooper vr80 is different than the black version. How do I remove that?
…So the gas assembly itself is the piston?
Does the VR 70 dissembles the same as the VR 80?
Any idea why iwould get no fire...not even a Light strike
I can't get the first screw to loosen to take the barrel off. Can someone help me?
Is thos the same for the vr 70
My vr80 will not cycle when I shoot it. Even with different ammo
Nice
Mines want even fire... It looks like the trigger when pulled it not hitting the firing pin...
How much in price sir..
