To be honest as a Batman fan I actually enjoyed this fight. We actually see Batman hard pressed and pushed. Pushed to the point where he's forced to retreat, not because he's unprepared or he's buying time etc, but because he will die if he doesn't. Batman has become overpowered and overpowered doesn't fare very well, take Superman for example. Because he's so overpowered they had to create a personal internal struggle within him and all sorts of kryptonite to weaken him. He rarely struggles with mortality, and Batman has reached that point as well, the fact that Batman is only human not only emphasizes how badass he is but it shows he can be wounded, hurt in various ways, that he's vulnerable. The scene where he's nearly killed by those two Talons is one of those rare moments where he's truly vulnerable. That vulnerability, that helplessness is a haunting reminder of his parent's murder. Why else would Batman always be pushing himself, always investigating, always planning preparing, his contingency plans for the Justice League etc, if not to prevent him from being helpless, POWERLESS again. This is proof he knows what its like to vulnerable, to be helpless because after all HE'S ONLY HUMAN. This is what makes Batman one of the greatest superheroes of all time, the fact he belongs to neither worlds. He's human but not ordinary, he's a superhero but not superpowered.
Superman rarely struggles with morality because people are too scared to let him. He's always gotta be the Christopher Reeve Superman who has next to no problem with anything. And if not Christopher Reeve then perfect god Superman who has no dilemas to face. This is why Superman seems boring; because most people who write for him can't write him as a character first, god last.
Devil May Cry my guy your getting it all wrong batman is supposed to be a god yet humane he steps up when superman fails he is always 2 steps ahead 99 percent of the things he does is intentional or he always has a back up plan he made the plans that could stop every justice league memeber also this video shows how humane batman like many other comics and movies showed its nothing knew batman has always struggled with exhaustion he struggled with keeping up with all the crime after all he was one person and bane broke his back by getting batman tired that has always been around this video is nothing different batman appears only when he is needed.
If i remember correctly it was later stated that those three were some of the best fighters throughout all of history. Which is crazy if you look at the fact that if they had been human bruce would have beaten them pretty quick
I have to rewatch the movie again to see if that’s true and if it is then it does make sense why Batman would lose but at the same time if they were human then Batman would’ve destroyed them.
This scene is just like a video game. You've ever had one of those times when you're playing a game you're too good at. You're confident in your skills. Then out of no where you encounter enemies you're completely unfamiliar with. More than that, they're like a couple levels above your own level. You try to fight, you hold your own for a while. Eventually they start to break you down little by little until you actually start feeling scared. Your hands get so sweaty you can barely hold the controller. You're no match for them, and you realize if you stay, they'll actually kill you. So you run like hell and they chase you. You barely manage to escape, but you put the controller down for a while. You turn the game off even, because you're so damn traumatized over what this DLC just freakin threw at you. (Speaking from experience)
I think that your hatred for Batman makes you enjoy his loss, because you are the same people. When Batman wins, you say it is by luck, coincidence, and plot armor, and when he loses, we see you celebrating. You marvel ppl are hypocrites, In Marvel, all the characters are gods, even Natasha jumps off buildings, fights monsters ten times bigger than her, and many, many more, not to mention Hawkeye, ironman, Spider-Man, Cap...
Remember. Batman is a human. He gets tired, he bleeds. The things he fights are manifested nightmares, ancient secret societies and monsters. This is what makes him interesting, that he is fallible, and must find ways around his opponents strengths. Or you can read superman where just kinda...punches things harder. Such plot complexity. wow.
But still these guys seem to be on a league of assassins members level of fighting capability and Batman easily mops the floor with them as he should with these guys too!!! I like this version of the Batman. Because He is a Mortal. Not an unnatural super entity. He can be defeated. He get hurt. This is the real Batman. "The Billionaire Orphan Bruce Wayne"
Alejandro Esparza We know that Batman is Human and that he isnt perfect, but to be fair he pretty much killed each of them several times, but since they regenerate it was to noi avail
Batman is sucha good guy . Holding bacк his full potential to not execute these guys. Then after he realizes they are not living beings he proceeds with bombs and gadget. I swear he is sucha honorable кnight.
So Batman won't kill people, but he will carry explosives capable of killing people just in case his opponents turn out to be ninja zombies. He really does think of everything.
Nate Patterson there not meant to be used on people, there breaching explosives, meant for breaking through heavy metal doors or, in some cases, walls.
Batman’s durability in comics, movies etc is highly inconsistent & shifts according to plot. If the plot requires him to be bulletproof he will be despite his costume appearing to be a skintight spandex suit. If the plot requires him to get shot or stabbed he will be despite the modern armored look of his suit. Like I’m Arkham knight where scarecrow injected his toxin straight through the collar armor despite Lucius boasting about the new suits.
There were like a hundred of these guys who aren't even human with swords and other extremely sharp blades with armor and batmans just a human with no powers and he only wears those fabric stuff
Well its bad writing. im sure batman has armor. but in this apparently not. batman coulda dropped bombs and blew all of them up. but apparently in this he didnt.
yes and no...death stroke usually gets beating by batman pretty often and those talons where just rookies and they miss up batman pretty good...sure deathstroke also as a healing factor but it's only good after a certain point like getting blown up into pieces, decapitation, burning into ashes or headshots. any how, it's sure that he could stand up to at least one or two but there is a crazy amount of talons of different varieties and they're all skilled killers.
I think that your hatred for Batman makes you enjoy his loss, because you are the same people. When Batman wins, you say it is by luck, coincidence, and plot armor, and when he loses, we see you celebrating. You ppl are hypocrites
Loved the fight choreography in this movie It beats most of the stuff in live action! The only thing I can think of that tops this is the warehouse fight in BvS
I know batman doesn't kill but the neckbreak and bomb he planted were moves he has in his arsenal. He has great restraint when it comes to fighting LIVING combatants lol
So let me get this straight. After he unmasks one and sees another regenerate its broken arm, Batman's first instinct is to, without prior knowledge of what these things even are or whether they're sapient, mind-controlled, or mutated civilians, PLANT A BOMB ON ONE AND EXPLODE IT INTO SMITHEREENS. THE MAN FIGHTS GIANT CROCODILES AND GELATINOUS MASSES OF CLAY WITH LESS LESS FORCE THAN THAT!
Batmans no killing rule only applies to humans. He's blown Solomon Grundies head off before because Solomon Grundy isn't human and doesn't fall under his no kill rule.
JosayyLmao I'm aware. He's also killed Parademons before. But he didn't know these things weren't human just because one regenerated its broken arm. He fights metahumans on a daily basis, his first instinct shouldn't have been TO BLOW IT DOWN TO HELL AND BACK WITH A FREAKIN' BOMB!
JosayyLmao In the movie this is his first encounter with them. He was just investigating the museum after remembering the court of owls rhyme his parents told him as a kid. That's just bad adaptation if you ask me.
The only thing I don't understand is his suit. Billionaire..... and all sorts of toys, but his suit is vulnerable to everything. But his will is indestructible
@dragon stare24 Yup, his whole body armor definitely worked perfectly in this sequence. As was its purpose, no blade could pierce it with one hit. Oh wait.......
gamenigeria sure it can. I actually own a Kevlar weaved vest. A knife could potentially pierce it with considerable repeated effort. However, nowhere near as effortlessly as the movie portrayed it. It's kind of like chopping clean through a Christmas ham with one slice. It's conceivable that one could do it, but realistically it would take many successive chops.
Hahaha..sorry. I have read every comic book...(roughly) that Scott Snyder ever wrote. And I know the conflict between DAMAIN and batman never happened. He had armour in the comic. He wore..green felt or something basic like that in the movie. Sorry to come across as abrupt but yeah
If we see Batman's losses, we will always find that they are because he's holding back and doesn't kill، Batman lost the battle because at the beginning of the fight he received great damage only because he was soft with them, and then he changed his method of killing, but it was too late after his body was exposed to fatal injuries. In the final battle, Batman and Nightwig confronted hundreds of them, and Batman took the shit out of them because from the beginning of the fight he was blowing them up.
Bruce can scrap can’t he. He beats each talon multiple times. But they can’t die. Not much you can do in that situation. Especially when they’ve taken out your shoulder blades. Great fight
Unless, Bruce Wayne has ever been arrested or detained by the police or simply went to the hospital for a annual checkup, then, no, they wouldn't have his blood on record because they never obtained a sample, and I sure that Bruce wouldn't allow anyone from the outside to obtain a sample of his blood. In fact, they couldn't even ID him with fingerprints, because Bruce has never publicly been arrested, they only obtain fingerprints if that has happened. Also, in the New DC52 universe, Bruce has personally erased all public records of him and the rest of the Bat-family so they couldn't be identified if they accidentally left some genetic material behind.
As an ordinary man....damn he's tough af,,,i think he is one of the most best fighters in amoung humans! deathstroke, cap, green arrow would have been lose to him (Martial arts)

i respect ur opinion my friend..but it seems like they both faced to faced so much times and still bat doesnt' dead, slade still cant collect his money contract.but till that..bat knows how to handle slade now due to prep time and this is not the first time he faced him so its an easy fight for bat..cuz u know bat will not easily lose if he studied and know the opponent's weaknesses and strength. slade is faster, smarter, stronger...if slade wants to win he should kill bat the first sight...but on the later..bat knows how to act now
confinez555 you are talking like slade never prepares for a battle. 1-he does! 2-he is smart, 3-he is a tactician, 4-he is a strategist, 5-he is faster, 6-he is stronger, 7-he is more agile, 8-he heals faster(thanks to mirakuru) 9-he has gadgets. lethal gadgets! unlike batman. 10-he is also rich enough. 11-his armor is better than batman's armor(at least he got his chin covered) 12-he has no non-killing rule. he has every adventage! Personal favorite DCAU Batman fight scene. First time I saw it I kept expecting Bruce to get the upper hand but he never really does. Then when you see him resort to retreating & not even being able to ecsape them quick enough it’s pretty intense. Also love how as soon as he sees they’re not living people he starts hitting them with moves that would easily kill and/or incapacitate a regular human instantly. Dude is a regular man yet, like superman, he has to hold back a lot of the time. He’s like John Wick in the sense of being capable of murder with nearly any object he can grab, except Batman is capable of killing a man with just his fingers😂
I love the imagery too. When Owls attack something they maul it. They spread their wings and then claw and peck it to death. The prey keeps trying to escape but the Owls are just all over it. This felt like the Talons were doing that to Batman

I would find it cool if there was a plot twist, where the Court of Owls was the League of Assassins' number 1 rival.
Pvt. Church No. Court of Owls was a phenomenal the way it was. Scott Snyder did a great job like always.
PHIFan-MIA And The league vs the order of st dumas would be better, they already share a bit of history together in comics
Angie Arovna I agree, but I still like the idea of a badass assassin organization going up against another badass assassin organization
ToLegitt2Quit LOVE IT
ToLegitt2Quit WHAT A TWIST!...This joke sucks.
This was one heck of a fight.
Man, I'd forgotten. Even though the rest of the recent DC animated movies are generally crap, the action is usually pretty good.
Batman: YOU'RE TEARING ME APART, TALON!
Here we go, The most toxic people are Resident Evil fans who have entered the world of heroes and want to ruin it
@@imed-ha77 Are you high? I said nothing toxic. I was making a reference to The Room.
He has some incredible durability
Not gonna lie...I nerded out a bit when they did the homage to the sword fight scene in the 1989 Batman. Gonna have to rent this now.
@@josephdent6825 yea, its been a while since ive seen the movie so i dont remember very well
They're like a bunch of hyenas surrounding a Lion
Damn, dafuq were you playing? 🤔
Dark souls 3
From what I've seen this one is the harshest fight batman ever took in animated series.
I love how they made that reference to Tim Burton's Batman 1989 movie, @ 0:52.
I thought I was the only one who noticed that
@@Seldz1 There is a first time, for everything.
Why did the talons just become liquid goo like that?
talons expire after a certain amount of fighting, they're zombies after all
So this is what it's like when henchmen attack more than one at a time.
Finally a fight where the writers actually did not pull any random bullshit plot device.
That mask throw into the talons face. I give it a10/10 lol.
Peace, Billy
Remember. Batman is a human. He gets tired, he bleeds.
The things he fights are manifested nightmares, ancient secret societies and monsters. This is what makes him interesting, that he is fallible, and must find ways around his opponents strengths.
Or you can read superman where just kinda...punches things harder. Such plot complexity. wow.
I always did prefer batman... much more relatable.
But still these guys seem to be on a league of assassins members level of fighting capability and Batman easily mops the floor with them as he should with these guys too!!! (before he gets tired he's still a human after all) If they are immortal it doesn't mean they are all of a sudden better fighters than the muthafucking Batman! It just means they can take a bigger beating!
Example A: the Talon throws two Sais at Batman and one of them hits BATMAN HAS CACHED GREEN ARROWS FUCKING ARROWS WITHOUT EVEN TRYING!!!
Example B: After he clotheslines the Talon he just fucking stands around for like almost a second like "Did I leave my oven on????" Like WTF!!! (and this was early in the fight so he wasn't tired)
Example C: after he exploats them and brakes the other ones neck he again just stands there like a fucking idiot without doing anything! I seriously doubt he wouldn't have more explosives!
Example D: He should have easily dodged that flying roundhouse kick if he is capable to block the other hit!
And I could go on and on and on......... On why the fuck he was nerfed like a OP gun in BF?!?!?!?!??!?!??!? Like I don't remember him winning even a single important fight in this movie! WHY DOES WARNER BROS HATE BATMAN?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Batman may be in peak human condition but he has limits (overconfidence and trust issues)
@@nikosoukkala2648 in the comic of this arc batman beats the talon after three days with no food or water and being stabbed and in the comic the whole damian thing isn't part of the story and the villain of the court of owls arc is bruce wayne presumed brother
@@gianfrancoperona6052 oh yeah and he was also going crazy from being poisoned the whole time but if I remember correctly he did drink from the fountain in very small amounts to stay alive and that was the way they poisoned him (or the fumes I can't remember precisely since it's been so long since I've read the comic) AND he was still strong enough to PUNCH a guy through a fucking at least couple inches thick concrete wall!
And in the end, it's "Life Alert" that saves the day!
Man, Batman sure does take a beating in this scene... What are those guys? Demons?
They can't be harmed or killed
Ninja zombies basically.
1:40 made me laugh ;)
Cody Mosby Yeah, it was like the non-joke version of the joke from Lego Movie. "First try!"
Made batman hit the life alert button! ⚠️
Batman's body armor sucks.
Let's not forget how awful they wrote batman in this movie
jc72la5stout iron man's armors in iron man 3 was easily destroyed by the villain
no it doesn't
+jc72la5stout I think it depends on how sharp those weapons are
+jc72la5stout I think the light fabric body armor batman wears helps maximize his movements and allow for maximum speed.
All he needed to do was a heavy ranged attack and *then* punch them. He should've played Gotham Knights
Imagine being the voice actor for this scene.
"Uh ... uh ... HUH ... uh"
I like this version of the Batman.
Because He is a Mortal.
Not an unnatural super entity.
He can be defeated. He get hurt. This is the real Batman.
"The Billionaire Orphan Bruce Wayne"
I like this because you always see Batman as this perfect hero who's always on top of things it's cool that we get to see him doing the opposite
Yeah people need to see that batman is only human
30th Gaming exactly!
Alejandro Esparza We know that Batman is Human and that he isnt perfect, but to be fair he pretty much killed each of them several times, but since they regenerate it was to noi avail
DarkKnight2037 true but Alot of people bitch about this scene
because they're stupid and thi8nk of it as a dis to Batman, when it's actually not`
Love how DC isn't shying away from blood
Is there ever a moment in comics where Shredder fights the Talons? I think that fight would be dope given their mutual love for blades
i like how at 0:51 after taking damage instead of losing it and going berserk he calms himself and keeps cool
Yeah, because he would have never won using just bare strength. He was able to defeat one thanks to his gadgets
The Talons...zombie ninjas
Basically
Batman realizing halfway through that he has no choice but to try kill them was unintentionally hilarious
Your hatred blinds you
If they were not immortal batman would have beat them
Read the comic I think he beats a couple of them
plus this batman is a pussy compared to the other cartoon, comic and movie batmans lol.
Yeah he shoulda dodged alot of the attacks
He's the goddamn Batman! He'd beat them anyways
+God-Emperor of Mankind your so fucking cancer I swear lmao
That's what an owl does to a bat, they tear them apart
Batman is sucha good guy . Holding bacк his full potential to not execute these guys. Then after he realizes they are not living beings he proceeds with bombs and gadget. I swear he is sucha honorable кnight.
this movie went hard as fuck
Exactly
So Batman won't kill people, but he will carry explosives capable of killing people just in case his opponents turn out to be ninja zombies. He really does think of everything.
Nate Patterson I'm sure it wasn't for putting on people
jrwith No they're for emergency ninja zombie situations.
Nate Patterson lol but seriously they are used on tech and infrastructure
kingpiccolo colin Ninja Zombehs!!! >.
Nate Patterson there not meant to be used on people, there breaching explosives, meant for breaking through heavy metal doors or, in some cases, walls.
Batman using the Batarangs as melee weapons is so fucking cool
Batman’s durability in comics, movies etc is highly inconsistent & shifts according to plot.
If the plot requires him to be bulletproof he will be despite his costume appearing to be a skintight spandex suit. If the plot requires him to get shot or stabbed he will be despite the modern armored look of his suit.
Like I’m Arkham knight where scarecrow injected his toxin straight through the collar armor despite Lucius boasting about the new suits.
i thought batman knew kung fu and other ancient martial arts and yet he still got fucked up
There were like a hundred of these guys who aren't even human with swords and other extremely sharp blades with armor and batmans just a human with no powers and he only wears those fabric stuff
I love how once batman realizes theyre not human he goes all out and fucking KILLS THE SHIT OUT OF 2 OF THEM IN LIKE 4 SECONDS
Correction, he only killed one.
In Owlmans universe, is there a court of bats?
Why can't a live action Batman movie have fight choreo like this. Would be amazing
Live action has limits, Animation has none.
Arkham batman joined the chat
Damn, son. Not used to seeing Batman get his fucking ass kicked. Lol
Well its bad writing. im sure batman has armor. but in this apparently not. batman coulda dropped bombs and blew all of them up. but apparently in this he didnt.
Electripcity Yeah I feel like they underpowered him for plot purposes.
1:10: batman corkscrews the guys head, *and then punches him in the face*. Goddamn
Deathstroke would have destroyed them
yes and no...death stroke usually gets beating by batman pretty often and those talons where just rookies and they miss up batman pretty good...sure deathstroke also as a healing factor but it's only good after a certain point like getting blown up into pieces, decapitation, burning into ashes or headshots. any how, it's sure that he could stand up to at least one or two but there is a crazy amount of talons of different varieties and they're all skilled killers.
In the comics, Deathstroke gets the better of Batman way more often than the other way around.
lipailong2 can u specify the names of storylines in which deathstroke beats batman m nt sayin ur wrong, I just want names
Scott Summers no he wouldnt
If Deathstroke had all of his weapons, swords, guns etc i feel like he'd stand a chance. Hand to hand maybe not.
Bro was getting jumped
"Batman could beat Superman eazy!"
Batman in reality: runs away from some spikey boys.
Did you read the Dark Knight returns?
@@JosephS-dj9os no, I have not, but I am familiar with the work.

@@imed-ha77 he's a marvel fanboy don't worry about him
He has some really good maneuvers, when he decides to kill
How come he gets wrecked by these three talons but when there's forty of them he's absolutely fine
He didn't know they were zombies he treated them as humans
Batman's expression when he took one of their masks "Welp it's not murder if they are already dead"
Loved the fight choreography in this movie
It beats most of the stuff in live action! The only thing I can think of that tops this is the warehouse fight in BvS
I love how just because Batman doesn’t kill, doesn’t mean he doesn’t know _how_ .
He specifically asked to be trained in assassination too because he believed knowing all the kill moves makes it more manageable not being killed.
1:40 and......GOTCHYO ASS!!!!
Lol I never thought about that as I was reading other comments arguing that point lol! That's so true xD.
+Jason Kelly I'm not sure if this movie follows the comic but in the comic he knew that the talons weren't humans by this point.
Batman totally has super powers.
@dragon stare24 Yup, his whole body armor definitely worked perfectly in this sequence. As was its purpose, no blade could pierce it with one hit. Oh wait.......
Damn, they're so good they needed three against one while also having some sort of regeneration powers. 👏👏 Well done
Batman has armour they said. It will deflect bullets and blades they said
Callum Berriman bullet proof doesn't mean knife . Kevlar can stop a bullet but it can't stop a knife. google it
gamenigeria sure it can.
Well, imagine a billionaire genius and what kind of armour he should have
Hahaha..sorry.
In the final battle, Batman and Nightwig confronted hundreds of them, and Batman took the shit out of them because from the beginning of the fight he was blowing them up.
first cut was on the bat symbol if I'm not mistaken isn't that where the armor is the strongest
+jon kidd this is not arkham knight and blades and bullets are different
Bruce can scrap can’t he. He beats each talon multiple times. But they can’t die. Not much you can do in that situation. Especially when they’ve taken out your shoulder blades. Great fight
Meanwhile all the other members of the JLA would kill the talons in 3 seconds
Talons are undead, so they can't be killed, but I get what you mean, lol.
+cod1LegendaryMLG What about Lantern?
+cod1LegendaryMLG Well, he can levitate and project force fields. Talons rely on H2H, so if you keep your distance it should be fine.
+Adam Dean Shafi And how can you prove that? At least we're using logic & reasoning, unlike you.
+Adam Dean Shafi Also, "fanclubm"? Fail
Matt Reeves really needs to bring the Court Of Owls to the movie screen.
The Owls were imo one of the great additions to the Batman story. Damian, not so much.
That fight was awesome
Wait a sec he left blood on the t rex so didn't the police do forensics and find out that he's bruce wayne
The ultimate weapon: OWL MASK
what if court of the owls was fighting against the hand.
what if they joined forces? The court of hands? The hand of owls?
ironspring Mindfucked bro
+barry lax. lol hahahaha
Batman got fucking bodied.
As an ordinary man....damn he's tough af,,,i think he is one of the most best fighters in amoung humans! deathstroke, cap, green arrow would have been lose to him (Martial arts)
deathstroke could win tho
Edward Nygma try again go play arkham series AND read comics.. 1v1 bat takes it
confinez555 i finished all arkham games m8 also read good amount of comics. i only said he COULD beat him. they are both tacticians after all. both are good martial artists. slade has 1 big adventage tho: mirakuru. he is faster and more agile. he also can heal faster. ;)
i respect ur opinion my friend..but it seems like they both faced to faced so much times and still bat doesnt' dead, slade still cant collect his money contract.but till that..bat knows how to handle slade now due to prep time and this is not the first time he faced him so its an easy fight for bat..cuz u know bat will not easily lose if he studied and know the opponent's weaknesses and strength. slade is faster, smarter, stronger...if slade wants to win he should kill bat the first sight...but on the later..bat knows how to act now
confinez555 you are talking like slade never prepares for a battle.
1-he does!
2-he is smart,
3-he is a tactician,
4-he is a strategist,
5-he is faster,
6-he is stronger,
7-he is more agile,
8-he heals faster(thanks to mirakuru)
9-he has gadgets. lethal gadgets! unlike batman.
10-he is also rich enough.
11-his armor is better than batman's armor(at least he got his chin covered)
12-he has no non-killing rule.
he has every adventage!
Do you know the main reason batman wins? because he has fans. LOTS OF FANS.
i challange you to top this comment.

Who would win in a open field battle a clan of Talons or the league of shadows
Batman.
+αdrıΔη. bwhahaha exactly....
+Sedrick Jones i guess talons would win cause they are not exacly humans
+alexander luthor besides the league of shadows have very good assassins and very shitty ones while the talons are stronger as fuck every single one of them
That's true, I guess you can account that fact that the Talons are sort of undead too
I find it hard to believe that Batman is standing out there in the open and gets ambushed.
Animation don't look this good anymore
Best Batman, it shows that he still human, not god like.
Or did they make him soft with people who wanted to kill him?
