    Awsome build on a great bow. I previously been hunting with the Hoyt RX3 and now just purchased the new Hoyt Ventum 33 and love it and can't wait to get into the woods. Great info and good luck.

    Ventom vs rx5. Which would you pick?

    • @robertmashburn3900

      Ventum, less shock and the weight is about the same and about 400.00 cheaper

      I would say for me... RX5, pricey but I just like the carbon feel in the bow

    Hey man - I wanna get into archery and found out that I am cross dominant. Right handed and left eye dominant.. See you are shooting a LH Bow.. Are you a Lefty or cross dominant aswell.. if so do you have any advice =)
    cheers

    • @PRIMALDIVIDE
      @PRIMALDIVIDE  3 года назад

      Yep! Right hand with everything I do except bows/long guns. Being left eye dominant is not ideal but.. it is what it is. Worst part is having to wait for left hand models to be made as the bow companies typically run a big line of RH before LH. Oh yea, ejection, mag release, etc on black rifles.

      @@PRIMALDIVIDE that is basically what most ppl recommend especially when you start fresh.. some ppl who always used the right hand start to train the non dominant eye with patches etc. but if you are in a hunting situation I believe you have to be able to trust your body 100%.. so my gut feeling says - bite into the bitter sweet apple and start lefthanded... thx bud!

      @@Taroth21 I agree. Maybe years ago I could've trained my other eye, now I just roll with it. and in all honesty, I developed my draw without any bad habits and I think in the end, it worked out better for me.

      @@PRIMALDIVIDE Great advice.. One more question (and I know you cant answer it 100% accurate without knowing me) - I am thinking about what bow I wanna start with 50-60 lbs or 60-70lbs. Yeah I never shot a compound bow but I work out in the gym and my back is fairly strong.. any recommendations? Changing limbs in the future might be an option but since I am from Germany and we dont have anything close to the amount/density of bow shops that you guys have my plan right now would be to go with 60-70 and if there is strenght missing just train..

    • @PRIMALDIVIDE
      @PRIMALDIVIDE  3 года назад

      @@Taroth21 limbs can be a pain and get expensive. go to a bow shop and make sure you can pull 60 lbs. If so, grab a 60-70 bow and go for it.
