I’ve listened to LLK since one of my friends suggested it to me a year ago, it’s sad to see the band slowly break apart. My heart goes out to Deadgreg, RIP🕊️
it sucks they are gone their singer actually used to live like down the street. and they did make it the were signed to artimis records which is the same label kittie was on
I saw them in Muncie long time ago the band aphelion also played. L L K was part of what we called the Muncie metal mafia. So was fly socket. I played drums with some
zombiegirl, evvy pedder is trying to find replacements becuz he wants to keep going. and this is the only music video they have ever made, one of the best underground horror rock bands out there
To the people below, they have indeed broken up, Evvy maintains a myspace site for them, but he is on to different things. They had a great album though, My So Called Knife.
I saw these guys at the IROC in Detroit. I was there supporting my friends band, they where the first act. These guys weren't on the ticket that night. They were just a surprise opener for 40 below Summer (who sucked). These guys came out to the lollipop guild song from the Wizard of Oz. To this day, they are in my top 10 shows I've seen. And I've seen legends! What a great show that was!
this isnt the only video they made. they also made one for the song Like A Disease its just hard to find. I had it on a dvd and seen it on MTVX back in the day.
Hi there yeah that was very sad time most of the band stayed in Toledo and did other projects. I can tell from being on the stage with them that their last performance was just as good as their first!
Man this brings back memories. I must have traveled thousands of miles to see these guys all over the Midwest. It's too bad it just didn't work out for them.
Criminally underrated album and band. All new metal was complete shit except for what they were doing. The vocals, the bridges and chorus, lyrics, some trax w sitars and Moogs and shit. They were just good underground experimental VHS late night cable access metal. Pulpy af
Dont forsee it. Drummer was best friend/brother the majority of my 40 plus yrs. We were friends before we knew it. Mere months apart in age and only 4 houses apart on the same block. His mom (my second mother) babysat me just for the first decade plus of my life. Went with him when he auditioned to replace their previous drummer. Within like a week give or take he memorized and jammed out every song with them. I remember watching them looking st eachother like "wtf" thinking hed only have a few songs at best down. Not the whole fucken album that fast. That boy coulc/can beat the fuck out some drums.
haha i like this song ive heard a few covers i mean the original is good but some of the covers are good as well ^_^ still good song i like the different syles of this song though this song = my life
I have both cd's (motel murder madness and my so called knife) and still listen to them alot. I heard the singer lives here in Colorado now (Denver). A reunion would be awesome.
@TheMrModders the son of Pill? Awesome cover! They use to tour with Dog Disco Fashion & Coal Chamber now thats what I call a kickass show LLK with either one of those bands! ♥ LLK
Good god, I played in bands in Ohio during this era and everyone was so sic and Disturbed...😅 get it?! Lol, that was the whole thing though, your singer crouching down the whole set holding his stomach like he was about to shxt himself then the rest of the band (aside from the drummer) trying to act like they were mental or crazy or something. And to think, everyone used to roast Insane Clown Posse so hard back then. 😅 That was at least completely self aware and those cats are hip hop legends now.
No they were serious about the band. I am form toledo so i had the fortune of alot of shows here. Lead singer used to work at meijer gas station on alexis road. Id stop in and see him from time to time. Originally i think the guitarist and another member were leaving the band. Evy tried to restart with no success. Its a shame bc i put these guys right up there with mushroom head
i saw these guys in like 2001 opening for coal chamber....its was a good show...typical late 90s/early 2000s music though....it was all begining to sound alike ill admit...

Rip to Greg that was my uncle best friend my uncle played in the band
This was an incredible cover, and a great name for a band. . Still listen to it and play it loud.
I miss the LLK days in Toledo man. Great song, best version of it by far. Great album, one of my alltime favorites
Yummm... wish I got to see LLK live..
it sucks they are gone their singer actually used to live like down the street. and they did make it the were signed to artimis records which is the same label kittie was on
I was skeptical when I saw the band's name, but holy hell...best cover of this song I have ever heard.
I liked this version a lot better than the one MM did a couple years later.
I saw them in Muncie long time ago the band aphelion also played. L L K was part of what we called the Muncie metal mafia. So was fly socket. I played drums with some

I was supposed to see these guys in Detroit right before they broke up.
10 years later and I still fucking regret missing that show.
Hi there yeah that was very sad time most of the band stayed in Toledo and did other projects. I can tell from being on the stage with them that their last performance was just as good as their first!
this version in my opinion is the best
what happened to them??? i bought this cd like 6 years ago...and i still listen to it. many nice songs
Evvy is the only "current member" he doesnt exactly want to resurrect LLK but he wants to make the same style of "murderous music"
sexxxyy. Love the voice, especially on the "reach out and touch faith" part
This band is so kickass. I was soo mad when I heard they broke up. I wish I could find a place to buy their first CD.
i love their song Everything I, badass song! Ever heard it gyus?
Man this brings back memories. I must have traveled thousands of miles to see these guys all over the Midwest. It's too bad it just didn't work out for them.
Fuck I miss this band.
i'm from their hometown and trust me they broke up back in 04

@bradsessomsable, that is awesome! Love the back story you gave, thank you for sharing it.
Saw them open up for Ministry back in 2003. That was one badass show they pulled off.
Wasn't that show at main event?
I'm gladf I got to see them live at least once like 8 years ago.
the best version of this song by far
This was an incredible cover. Still listen to it and play it loud.
This song makes me crazy.....
always been a huge fan of llk but by watching this can certainly understand why they only made one video.
haha i like this song ive heard a few covers i mean the original is good but some of the covers are good as well ^_^
still good song
i like the different syles of this song though
this song = my life

Jimi Poindexter agreed! I'd love to see them come back into the music scene. Being in Colorado myself I'd hope they start here first!
never going to happen my guy
hahaha...I was probably eating something. Mail it to me, I'll sign it for ya.
This is my uncles band
JayO sent me, happy he did. Damn good cover!
Great band from my hometown. 🤘
cool stuff dude! thanks for the upload :P
I still can't fucking believe that these guys don't have a lot of recognition...
5 seconds in.. this is a great cover.. , even if this song has been covered zillions of times now, this, mansons and depeche mode, make it the best.
I wish these guys would get back together
damn ..another cover of "Personal Jesus".I happen upon new covers of the song every now and then.
I loved this band man, back with mp3.com was cool!
I've truly fallen down the rabbit hole

@TheMrModders the son of Pill? Awesome cover! They use to tour with Dog Disco Fashion & Coal Chamber now thats what I call a kickass show LLK with either one of those bands! ♥ LLK
80,302 views, 654 favorites, 262 likes. That's quite sadly disproportionate. Favorite it for great justice, everyone!
they also sound like all my favorite bands
Good 'ol alternative metal
the better cover of personal jesus
The riff sounds like a fucking chainsaw! :D
Cool..
the main part of this song is so damn heavy it sounds like Korn
@Nerolus Haha I was so drunk when I posted that :) That makes me laugh
They're from Toedo.. Did they film that vid in Ann Arbor, I swear that's the A2 greyhound in downtown.
the concert footage was in cleveland ohio... I miss peabodys :(
Not many things I miss about Toledo. Their music and Hell's kitchen....the band not the show.
@stripedconvict43 they did (except Tom) under a new name ''that in black '' nothing released yet
It's my telephone they use.
done it.....
No. Her name was Sonya Sutherland, IIRC correctly.
I agree, They beat Manson's cover.
Original version is better
But this one isn't so bad!
Music is even good
@Nerolus Says who?
they're my fav band man, your pop actually knows them? are they gonna do another album?
Good god, I played in bands in Ohio during this era and everyone was so sic and Disturbed...😅 get it?! Scripted of course. She was the director of the video too. I used to know her, Sonya was her name, but we fell out of touch awhile back.
Kinda sounds like Marilyn Mansons cover. Awesome song, use to jam to this band in high school.
They did it before Manson and better.
shoulda used some toledo footage!
I'm the singer.
ahahahaha WTF :)
i saw these guys in like 2001 opening for coal chamber....its was a good show...typical late 90s/early 2000s music though....it was all begining to sound alike ill admit...
