worked for a fella who has a Fusion 4, he said they have gone backwards with the new interface as they got rid of the buttons in place of an all-digital interface. Completely mad on Mchale's part, it's not a new Mercedes car its an interface for an agricultural machine its got to be functional, expecting someone with possibly dirty hands on a bumpy field try to hit a tiny pause button or a small lock icon is madness. I imagine its the same if ran through isobus but unsure
Congratulations and I appreciate your feedback you are giving. We owned one of the older versions of this model before it went to khun. To be honest it still gives me nightmares just looking at the thing, but looks like khun has made some big improvements. Hopefully you can do another review after you have done 30, maybe 50,000 bales with it. We went to the green machine after that and we will never go back, each to there own. Have a good season.. @@mrcvx We are based in Southland. South Island, Close to the southern coast.. we are just farmers doing our own bales. All our stock stay outside on crops on set out bales in winter ❄️.
I feel your pain our Amazone sprayer has the same screen and very hard to understand the symbols, where if it was words on the icons it would make life an awful lot easier
You just goto auto when It comes up on the screen it will take over. And there is a cover under the bottom back roller just after rotor take it off the first of them was welded on but the newer ones are bolted. You might have to clean it once a day and it more in hay or very dry silage it will build up.
Looks good but before you get the pto clutch set is your power boost damper ok ?? Pto clutch is a 5 min job but check the damper it a ver common problem best of luck
How much power will the Kuhn take compared to the mchale? Is it easier to drive? 100% with you on chopping in these big crops. Have had chopper blades professionally sharpened this year and in big crops I think that’s paid dividends. Actually considering buying my own sharpening machine as it’s seriously saved time, fuel and strain on the baler
I have the Kuhn 3 weeks now and I made 2500 Balles, and I a m absolutely happy with her.
I have the big cci 1200 and i like it so far.

I think everything is gone this way , it's not for me .even some new cars it's hard turn on the radio

Yes I know the models you speak about I think they were fairly weak , these seem well made.
What part of new Zealand? I spent a season out there

I also took the slip clutch apart and put washers in below all the springs, a tricky job. It did help
You can change the settings of the baler from the working screen by pressing the button with the i

Great video it seems to a good baler there’s no such thing as the perfect machine they all have flaws new and old
Very true!

Great video Mr cvx 👍👍👍
Interest your views on the Khun In heavens name put a guard on 4shaft of the front mower
How many bales you reckon you’ll make this season
👌
Why u selling the Massy ? It’s a right unit 🤷♂️

It's a bit more power hungry as it's packing them more .edge is very important
Have ye still a small case? Met one with a pottinger rake near the ring road yesterday evening and wondered was it your yoke.
Yeah we do
Were you on very steep ground and if so how did it do? 👍👍
Yes we were it is a good machine on hills
How many bales do you get from the 2 nrf rolls?
190
Works out cheaper than the proper nrf on other balers then?
Yes and also it's a heavier plastic
🇨🇮🇨🇮👍👍🙏🙏
It’s still a better baler than the mchale I have a deer combi I like her first time I can make good bales goweil is some baler
Bought new mchale fusion can't fault it
Too slow to transfer a bale to warped your losen 15-20 seconds per bale
It's 3 seconds slower
Mchale fusion would beat that Kuhn baler all day long 60bales an hour no problem with 6 layers of wrap
This done 77
Had to come look at the comments to c did this lad comment on the fusion, we get it u like fusion balers 🙄
Tis like a baler made for 2023 with a monitor from 2003 just poor technology at this stage and in 💩 pictures
I think the monitor is a bit too advanced for what you need on a baler , the simpler the better on them kind of things
@@mrcvx yes I see. especially with the bale count it seems
@@mrcvx think the monitor was what put me off most when I tried it. There was too much to get my head around personally.
