Question on Alpha: Since it states "return THEM to the hand", suppose I target 3 of my Beasts, and my opponent chains CED to pre-emptively bounce one of them to my hand. How does it resolve? A) I bounce the remaining 2 Beasts to my hand and bounce two of my opponent's cards; B) I bounce the remaining 2 Beasts to my hand but bounce nothing of my opponent because I did not return all my targets to the hand; C) I bounce nothing because one of my targets is missing and I therefor cannot bounce them all to my hand. In the tcg there are only 2 “virtual world gate” cards in the game atm. Meaning it has no possibility to activate the 3+ effect. Unforunately for you, your locals is correct. Activate by paying 2000 Life Points, and revealing all cards in your hand to your opponent. Look in your opponent's hand and select 1 card. Until your opponent's next End Phase. NEXT end phase. NOT their next turn's end phase. The NEXT occuring end phase. They get it back at next end phase that occurs which is the one that comes up. This card if you activated during your turn, your opponent wont get it back til their next end phase. You can also compare it with Subterror Behemoth Voltelluric. If you took control of your opponents monster during your turn, you'll give it back during your next end phase, aka then end of the turn. You next X phase means the next one that occurs, which is different from the NEXT TURN'S X Phase.

@@Getbigcuh actually the reason you can chain Ash to Shaddoll Fusion with Meltdown on the field is due to Meltdown only preventing “activations” from being negated, however, Ash Blossom does not negate activations, she negates the effect.
If I activate vfd in the draw phase of my opponent’s turn and then my opponent activates misc in their main phase, are they able to activate Dino effects that main phase?

Is alpha first effect to summon him self is once per turn ? Let's say my opponent has 2 monsters can I summon alpha bounce him and 1 of the 2 monsters then summon him again and atack over the second
@@darklightmotion5534 shaddoll fusion checks on resolution if there are extra deck monsters out. So the resolving chain could change the monsters on the field. Knightmares check on activation. "If this card was co-linked when this effect was activated..." means that it checked at activation. So the draw is guaranteed even if the knightmare is not co-linked at resolution as long as it was at activation, which is why you can/can't ash knightmares.

Hey I noticed you didn’t get this answered so I wanted to help out. The reason he says “it checks at resolution” is due to the fact VW Kauwloon says “then you can APPLY any of the following EFFECT(S) in sequence”. “Apply” in this context means the effect is determined once Kauwloon’s effect resolves rather than on activation. So even if you do not meet the requirements to activate the “3+” effect on activation of Kauwloon, Ash Blossom still can respond to Kauwloon because of the text “When a card or effect is activated that INCLUDES ANY of these effects”. I hope this helped. As far as “that doesn’t seem fair”, Ash feels like that a lot- I’ve had my turn 1 Shaddoll fusion negated too many times because of its upside :/

You basically take control of UCT regardless of Misc I think since Crackdown is a continuous effect.
Even crackdown would take it. Because continuously applied effect is not an activated one.
