Lol I guess I could have done a better job articulating why I didn't like it as much as I'd hoped. I just think that the general bombast of the album keeps it from being as emotionally intimate as Mercury act 1 or even Smoke + Mirrors. It's jus my opinion tho and that shouldn't change whether you enjoyed it or not.

As an imagine dragons fan I really do not like this album. It sounds so corny and I can't stand it. only one I like is eyes closed, but why tf did they add it twice...
@@rock87992 IMO it's the only one I can bear to listen to. I enjoyed all of their previous albums, yet this one is just... not it. They released part 2 to mercury like a year ago at most, so why are they already trying to release another album? This stuff takes time to sound good...
Mercury Act 2 was two years ago what, they literally released Origins a year after Evolve lol do you have short term memory? Its also funny seeing imagine dragons fans call this album corny as if they havent been their entire history 😂
@@MysteryMeep1 oh wow you are correct. Mercury act 2 did come out 2 years ago, my mistake haha time goes by way too fast. Also before 2022 I was on a break from listening to music for 2.5 years due to the fact that my middle school band teacher took me from beginning band to advanced in less than 2 years and I was nowhere near as good as the other advanced students so I gave up and acted like music was useless. I never had access to any music streaming platforms really until 2022 so I never realized origins and evolve came out in such a short frequency. Now I can certainly say some of their music is corny, but a lot of it I enjoy and don't see it as such which could easily be just a sign of immaturity.

Yeah, I kind of like the idea, you could mention what you originally rated each song and then give a new ranking if your mind changed on specific songs, telling us what grew on you or what stayed the same. Are you thinking of reviewing more albums in the future? I like the way you kept this review short and to the point, while also talking a little about every song. I wouldn't mind your future reviews to be longer though, but whatever you feel comfortable with. It would be awesome if you could review My Epic's Loriella that came out the same day as Loom. If you review it I predict you'll have two songs at 5/10 and everything else will be higher. I'm curious what your criteria is for songs that are 9s and 10s.
