Hey guys! What's up?
Today, we're talking about the revamped Aurora on the Advance Server! We'll be diving deep into the pros and cons of this much-anticipated update, so let's get started.
Pros:
Short cooldown on skill 1: Aurora's first skill now has a significantly reduced cooldown, making her a formidable presence in team fights and skirmishes.
2-1 combo for instant freeze: The basic combo of using her second skill followed by her first skill results in an instant freeze on the enemy. This is perfect for catching opponents off guard and setting up ganks.
Outplay potential with passive: Aurora's passive skill, Pride of Ice, gives her a lot of outplay potential. If she takes fatal damage, she will be encased in ice and become invulnerable for a short period of time.
Double freeze combo with ultimate: Combining her second skill with her ultimate creates a double-freeze effect. This is perfect for team fights, as it can disrupt the enemy team's positioning and give your team a significant advantage.
Cons:
Slightly weaker damage: While the revamped Aurora has gained utility and control, her damage output has taken a hit. She's no longer the one-shot burst mage she used to be.

Her cons wont stop her with good positioning, she definitely became better but more team reliant

@@krawlerflipdown-vw8ym The new one is more useful just imagine freezing the tower while your teammates is tower diving plus her second and ult are both AoE and she has more survivability with her new passive while also being able to one shot combo just like her old one.
Majority of people are not going for thr backline like that. Its rare. Unles your completely out of position, your less likely to die
I think the pros outweigh the cons, for the longest time she has a very awkward kit that altho helps her in bursting enemies 1 by 1 but not so during teamfights. And as the current meta is now usually revolved around utility mages, Aurora definitely has a spot, I'd say EVEN BETTER than Vexana's revamp. She almost has everything that a mage needs other than mobility and range. I'm just so happy to see that she was treated right, altho no longer the one shot burst, I think this'll be for the best as her freeze cc is also very potent and spammable now.
There's a chance she might get banned but as all things considered, when it's a low mobility hero, they wont really be ban-worthy as we've seen such as Ixia. Which i think is fair to make the hero balanced.
i mean, revamped vexana has nothing to offer tbh, even her disney princess looks can't save her from the bottom, she didn't improve after the revamp...
@@fromAshesReborn24 she actually has something. She has a long-ranged CC, good for ganks and setups. She has good wave clearing, which remains unchanged. Her knight can be used as an alternative tank. Her 2nd can disrupt the enemy from escaping, and is a finishing skill, good for killing the enemies. Add in her passive, and she's even deadlier

For a burt damage dealer, she still has no match with eudora or Aurora who can one combo instantly (ofc vexana can do that, but still) cz her only main damage is her second skill. The change on her first skill is unnecessary, the old one was better. Her ultimate only get a cc benefit, while her knight is slow and has low damage.
And for poke mage, there are lot of better mage like valir, yve, chang'e or zhask better than vexana

I did play the revamp Aurora it was fun but hard to master the ult because sometimes you need to be close or need a setter for it
Or when solo ganking freeze the enemies first by the 2nd skill then do the Ult

Just stick and support your MM during team fight.
Use ur ult for def, like if someone's chasing you, just sit inside your ult.
She may not be the one shot mage we all knew in the revamp but atleast her skills are now unique on their own unlike the original server aurora where her skills are basically eudora but ice

I am excited for her skin revamps especially heartbreak empress, the current one is literally just a elite skin. I hope they are going to add some heart effects on her skills.
They wouldn’t make much changes in heartbreak bec that is not annual star skin probably like just colour changes…. But yeah zodiac lunar fest and Kof gonna best of her 🎉

There are already many burst mages like Eudora, Nana, Vexana, Vale, etc. and this revamp makes her play style different. I hope that this will be on the original server soon.
Might have to try her out as a damage roamer as well. Potential is there with the crazy crowd control she has now
Maybe hybridbuild to also give her survivability while still providing strong pokes and CC

In conclusion, just nerf aurora a little or a tiny little bit of her skills
No, she's weak close range, and second skill cd is already pretty long. I think she's balanced enough.

U forgot oracle build … when aurora activate passive . it give 20% of hp n with help of oracle n healing spell it probably give u 60% of hp 😂❤ ….
Come for backup. It depend on your luck. If it bad you can see Enemy spam recall2 on your dead body😂

That ult is very good in turtle fights, when your enemy tries to contest when turtle or lors is low hp then mostly the jungler might get caught in her ult and unable to retri at right timing because of the freeze from ult and 2nd skill
I think she is a good hero even though she is easy to catch if you get close to her it's pretty reasonable that mages are usually low in mobility but her main problem is her ult size is small and takes some time to spread i would really like if the ult size is similar to yve's ult and it's a pretty reasonable change if they would like to add it because with heroes like pharsa and novaria have really long ult ranges but pharsa's ult also deals more damage than aurora's ult
It makes sense why her Ult is not as long as that of Yve's. Imagine disabling a turret from far away. That is too OP

Aurora's ult can FREEZE enemies so maybe they don't want to give her so much range. But I still think her ult is missing something.
Her ult will take a lil time for me to adjust to, but her 1st and 2nd skills are amazing. She's not a very mobile hero, so maybe I'll try out a few movement speed boost emblems and items to see if she rotate a lil better

Talisma and fleeting time would make a great core item for her if plying support while her other slot would be def items making her tanky while dealing multi cc skills with low CD
Full burst would make her very hard to deal with, with her wide range,burst and cc skills
Another pros for this revamped Aurora is she has faster lane clearing than the current one. Gonna miss the one hit combo burst Aurora if this gets implemented on original server. 😢

It's the only one of its kind and being able to disable turrets for about 2.5+ seconds - when using both Ultimate + 2nd skill - is crazy good in either saving teammates or, and especially, when turret diving with teammates
2.5 seconds doesn't sound like a lot but it actually is in a game like MLBB
I think she will be also viable as a roamer due to the new CC skills.
The other cons that you forgot is that, since her skills are fast/quick, Radiant armor can now benefit more

I think the revamp is pretty good. I think revisioning her playstyle as a CC oriented mage with less damage just fits her design way better than just another one-shot mage with one trick. honestly, I really think this playstyle just fits the queen of ice better. her old passive is just kind of wasted in a sense, because it only functions as a way to hold the enemy in play while she completes her combo instead of actually exploring the idea of aurora constantly freezing enemies around her. It might as well just be another feature of her second skill, only she can't even use her other skills while clearing waves in order not to waste it.
Her revamp just makes her more interesting and more fun, in my opinion. I especially like the new skill 1, and its short CD, I think it's pretty good design. my only complaint is about her revamped ultimate, it just seems so awkward and clunky, especially compared to her other skills. Just imagine the idea of her ultimate summoning a full on blizzard, slowing enemies and potentially freezing them if they stay in it for too long, all the while dealing constant ticks of damage. Maybe it enhances her other skills, making her skill 1 shoot more projectiles in a larger area, or her skill 2 just freeze all enemies in its range, so long as they're inside the ultimate. maybe it increases her defense stats while she's inside, or even grants her a temporary free charge of her passive so long as it lasts.
Not necessarily the idea I gave, but I do think they could do something better with her ultimate. because I do think they did a good job with her other skills.
I got the same thought. Her new ult is good but it still feels like something is really missing. I feel like it shouldn't be rectangular, it should be circular. I feel like she should at least get a special buff when she's channeling her ult like maybe a shield or an increase on her defense for a while. Ngl, the other skills feels and looks amazing. The ult is still 50/50 for me.
Tbh I prefer this revamp bc now she’s has here own play, before she was the same as eudora but now she’s unique 😊
Eudora got fastest skill now
I think another con is the loss of her instant freeze. Her freeze now has delay and no longer a target-locked skill. Assassins will no longer be hesitant to dive her.

Actually they need to think twice before try to kill her in tower if she have passive skill but yeah like you say assassin that have dash skill can easily kill her in tower so yeah.

You forgot to mention that she has no longer any hero locked skill. Because her old s2 was hero locked. So she was able to catch Fanny, Gusion, Ling, Lance

What i love about her new kit is she actually has AOE skills now. Though im gonna miss the crit dmg when an enemy is frozen. Even though this one is gonna be a monster for teamfights

I basically using Flask with Aurora because i always roam + revitalise, this is better when we always stick with our teammates

i prefer on 2nd option because enemy can't figure out aurora have passive or not unless she's showing ice path trail

The fact that she almost got the best support/ roam kit.
Her passive depends on max hp, her freeze freezes turret dmg, she got am aoe lane clear + slow skill, 2 aoe freeze skill.
What more do you need.
Its funny how now she will actually be able to use ice queen wand now.
I prefer this over the current one because she played just like Eudora. The same combo order too. So now she has her own play style and combos.
She can be played as mage or roamer now just like valir. Now for banning wise, she might get banned for the long freeze and the spamming first skill and freeze tower thing buuuut there's a chance she won't because again she has no mobility. The passive doesn't help much if you're surrounded by hungry enemies. The freeze only works if you're in the freeze zone in second skill. she can easily be taken down if the enemies play it right. But overall I love it and can't wait to play as her

Previously, she able to counter slippery assassin heroes like Saber, Fanny, Harley, etc. That why I always pick her on rank game whenever I see those heroes on other team. Sad that she can't do it anymore.

I really hate how they keep nerfing the damage outputs of mages in every revamp.
not all mages are meant to be burst mages they changed Aurora into a utility mage and utility mages like Yve and valir have lower damage potential but stronger effects like slows or stuns it would be op if her skill 1 could do 1k damage that would be so op since it hits 5 times and not to mention she have slows and stuns and she can easily stack the passive of ice queen wand because her skills are spam able
@@llordmakisigsantiago7098 yeah and they nerf those same effects like how Yve got severely nerfed and Rapid boots having slow resist. It makes it less interesting for my taste. So I don't really care if they've got better utility I still prefer damage output. You don't need to tell me what they're good for, it doesn't change my opinion on what I like. Odette and Eudora had better potential than before and when they became more popular they started nerfing them because they realized how strong their scaling actually was. Back then Eudora could eliminate anyone instantly with a single Ult. They were unpopular because of the meta back then not because they were bad. Moonton pretended they were bad so that they could nerf them and advertise a "better" version where in reality they made them weaker. And don't even get me started with the designs, it's so redundant and tasteless. They took all the personality and character from their heroes just to sell them. This game is only after money and as someone that spends on the game I really wish they start getting creative with aesthetics. I hate that everything has to be pretty and bright colored. I want old vexana because her design is unique and perfect. I love aurora because you can see her back story in her design. And I hate how they just want to make everyone attractive cuz they just want to project beauty standards. They make everyone pale and skinny or like muscular and tall only. That's why I like cyclops and bane because they're the only ones that have been different. They frown upon fan service designs like big breasts, hips, and thighs but they project even worse beauty standards by only showing white fair skinned and skinny women. Why can't there be a chubby girl with pink skin? That's also why I've always liked Selena, Novaria, and Yve (also old karina and the old zodiac skins like aquarius). Their designs are unique and beautiful. Honestly the only thing that might separate the new female designs are their names given that they all almost look a lot like each other. So not only do I hate the meta I also really hate their new designs. Everyone in their design and marketing team deserves to get fired. They should hire more writers because story is always more interesting. They should focus on the story as much as they focus on aesthetics.
I feel the same. They did a total rework on all her skills. They might as well have made a new hero instead.

The New Aurora turned her into a Utilitarian rather than a burst mage, she can probably still burst with items tho.. but who knows
Her new Passive is great in many situation, but due to Aurora unable to move during her Passive, it encourages the player to play safe, even with her passive active.
Aaand of course heroes like Martis, Diggie and the likes still counter, or atleast has the kit that counters Aurora.
i like this revamp more than the Vexana revamp tbh

@@ProGamer-nn9hd well i feel like thats sort of counterintuitive in a way, one of the features aurora revamp has is that, if you have more magic power, the duration of frozen will last longer, but it could work as a hybrid, not necessarily full tank

The revamped aurora lost the ability one shot. As a aurora main, for myself conclused is before revamped u can one shot mage or mm, but survive ability low. U can even flick in to kill.
After revamped, survive ability better and teamfight is helpful. But u cant flick in like before as your 2nd skill need aim accurate to freeze and combo
Finally i can use kof skin of aurora😂 tbh she looks better than before maybe semi tank build will be good for her just like valir🎉

This is just not a revamp, it's a total rework of her whole character. As an Aurora user it might take some time to adjust how she is used to her max potential.
Dapat may indicator si aurora pag may passive pa sya kagaya kay nana. Mas maganda din medyo matagal 1st skill nya kasi sobrang slow na spam pa lalo kung gamitan pa ng ice queen wand.

She can actually one shot kill squishy enemies if you hit her skills just like here 4:14 not as easy as before tho since you can miss her First skill.
Personally I rather like Aurora's revamp, and out of all the heroes she did deserve it the most, so maybe now the devs can fix Zhask's bugs:
Summarised: Zhask's spawn counts as both a creep and hero unit at the same time and the wall hitboxes suck. (I noticed that the damage problems seem to affect all summoned units, but neither sun nor vex seem as badly affected as Zhask, but please correct me if I'm wrong), in some situations his ult basically just immediately runs out and for some people, on low graphic settings his second skill indicator is invisible. FIX ZHASK.
Can we get a zhask bug fix? His spawn takes full damage from both retribution and dhs (which makes helcurt one shot my ult or me and my passive, and it takes two instances of damage from cursed helmet, one normal and one 350%),
he can't ult in minsi's anti-dash field under any circumstance, even when its an on the spot morph,
the wall's hitboxes are just broken(I often clearly teleport over a wall and stay on the same side),
if you activate his ultimate but subsequently die before morphing, the ultimate goes on cooldown despite the fact that it hasn't really been cast (I think most of us would love i-frames during the morphing phase- between triggering and being in it),
when you leave the ult before it ends, and reposition it when its at its despawn range, the animation plays but no ult spawns. Furthermore, casting ult again after this causes its duration to drop to essentially zero and immediately end upon casting, WHICH SURELY COUNTS AS GAME BREAKING, so in conclusion: please help bring awareness about zhask's bugs because the help service doesn't work unless we all spam it I'd presume or someone makes a video

In my opinion, she is good right now. I prefer this kits than her current skills that has a weak lane clearing abiities. The lowered damage is fine tho, to make her balance. She is more of a utility mage now.
Seeing her new ult just made me miss Valir's old ult.
I'm going to miss using the burst damage that Aurora dishes out, once it comes out, I have countered so many turret dives with her passive that they end up dead,😂 since I'm not shy to use her skills to stak the passive,. The highest tittle I got on her is top 27 in Quezon province, and I occasionally get told by some of my teammates, why her she's weak or useless, well how is 13 kills 1 death and 10 assist says with 3 meta heroes on the enemy side. Honestly I got a bit disappointed with what happened to Hanabi's ultimate, like come on I need to hit a hero around the center of the ultimate if you mist bye bye.
