Mr Tevz, thank you very much I have been stranded with problem for about a month, but today I am very excited to see you handle it before my very own eyes with clear explanations. Cheers bro,
Thank you very much for the insight. On my own 49inches LG tv, both VGH odd and VGH even are dropping to about 4.5v the rise back to 27.5v. can I tap directly from VGH to both VGH odd & even?
Great idea I just have the same trouble with this video just for clarification Idol correct me if I'm wrong, this can't be done by only putting tape on the terminals or pins?

Hi, great video. Thanks for sharing. I have a TV similar to this one. If possible, a question: is it normal vgh_odd and vgh_even switching between -5 to 28V every second? Another question: Why 27 ohm resistor? From now on, thanks for paying attention.
yes, it's normal vgh_odd and vgh_even switching between -5 to 28V. you can connect it without the resistor, the resistor is just to not force the current whenever there is a short circuit in the panel.

Does it mean the T-con is bad. Replacing it will solve the problem, won't it ? Or it may be caused by other issues such as the LCD panel driver board ?
My 32 inch led tv picture is clear from 30 minutes. When it warms up the color fades and the line horizontal lines are come full screen . The cof is hot. What problem....
The problem is the VGH even and odd have a partially shorted, disconnecting the vgh even and odd on the left side or right side will solve the problem. I bypass the VGH ODD LEVEL shifter as shown in the video. The 27 ohms resistor is just in incase have a problem directing the VGH odd it will not force VGH going to the panel. If the bypassing is successful. it's ok to remove the resistor and direct it to connect to the panel.
HELLOW tevz TV great video but How do you know it was VGH ODD or VGH EVEN in short? could be the VGH line or VGL line right? , you also bloked this lines in the left side so How do you go straight to this lines? Another thing is...i dont understand in this repair is, why you do not unblock the left painel sector and cut only the vgh even to and make the same thing in the vgh odd you make in the right side? In that why the plainel gone work with al clks with another vgl and vgh and also with another Vgh Odd so the painel works better for more long time right? Or im wrong sorry by this question but im lerning tv and this makes me worder...... Thanks for your Amazing videos.
Hi, I would be gratefull if you could help me, so I have the same problem (horizontal lines and freezing screen) and when I cut the VGH ODD and let the VGH even connected the picture is perfect and it dont flicker but freezes every 2 sec, and when I cut the EVEN and connect the odd the screen dont freezes but flickers. Any ideas? And do you leave the paper under theone ribbon cable or remove it, because when I put it in the screen is just black. Thanks ahead for the answer.
@@tevzTVTevatronics I did but the voltage is going from -3.9 to -4-9 on the VGL and from 29,8 to 28,8 on the VGH, I connected VGH EVEN from both sides to VGH and VGH ODD from the right side TO VGL an the screen is not freezing but it is shownig horizontal lines on the top, but when I connect VGH ODD from the left side it freezes again. Is it possible to fix it if both sides are shorted?

If the two sides have shorted gates you can not tape them both. Its shows on the video how to do it.

To sum up: dark image, double image are caused by drop voltage at the level.of vgh odd and vgh even..right?
yes, as you can see in the video.
Hello Sir,how did you come up with the 27ohms to jump the VGH

When you bypassed with the 27 olms resister how many volts did you get to the other end❓
