Do you know why this podcast is the best one around? It's not only about reliving again one of the greatest TV series of all time but these three amazing human beings are giving a chance to chat with us, fans all over the world, it's absolutely touching and brilliant.
Love Sterling calling out their intention to largely avoid talking about the child actors for their space and safety. That protective instinct and the acknowledgement of the different pressures on childen in the public eye speaks volumes.
The “ home videos, and shaking them up in a box” very much like our memories when we move back on the event of our lives. Brilliant way of doing television.
I can't wait for them to review the episode where Randall and Kate are trying to remember the glitter fight. And how they both remember that day so differently.
This podcast is bringing me so much joy, because I feel like we still have them..as we did when the show aired. Seeing them together reminds me of how much I've truly missed them! This Is Us was phenomenal on all fronts...casting, acting, writing, direction, production, score...everything!!
I SO agree! There are television shows that come on when you know you’re watching something very special. And these shows are a few and far in between, this is definitely one of them!
One of the BEST quotes of the episode; Annie: "My vice is asthma, his is cocaine" LMAO Absolutely LOVE how Chris & Sterling seem to enjoy making Mandy uncomfortable but I get it, it's awesome! Ms. Moore is a brilliant actress! Go ahead guys, this'll be great. Ah, Tobey & 'show business', what a classy guy & Kate is right, the hat is everything. Okay, I'm just gonna say it, Beth & Randall werre my favorite characters right the very start!! Love you all!
Must agree, this series made me reflect and be more empathetic to my parents and family members rather than being judgmental on their life choices. The situation of Jack’s parents and brother were one of the most impactful part for me. Sometimes we forget our family had a life prior to our existence.
Rebecca's speech to Jack when he came home late was so helpful in my personal life to finally advocate for myself - as a wife of 26 years and a mom of 5.
This episode is so great. Specially Beth and Rebecca, the way they are not afraid to have the difficult conversations and ask the hard questions, all for the sake of protecting their families. Women in this show are truly amazing. Thank you Susan and Mandy for your wonderful work.
I loved Miguel from day one. I was defending Rebecca and Miguel on all my FB fan discussion groups. I knew time past and they deserve to love. It took years to see the beautiful relationship develop. Rebecca loved Miguel and missed him when he left
Yes, I noticed that when I rewatched it! Dan F is such a GENIUS putting in all of these Easter eggs that we weren’t aware of when we first watched the episodes! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
So speaking about children/young people in the cast, Niles Fitch and Lyrics Ross had absolutely amazing presence for being as young as they were when the show aired.
Watching the development of Kevin and Randall's relationship helped me so much to deal with the relationship between me and my brother... Trying to convince him to watch the show
I’ve been rewatching the show for the past 2 weeks. It’s interesting to notice things that I didn’t notice the first time. Beth was an absolute powerhouse and such a great role model. I also have taken note on Kevin who I’ve always loved. No matter what is going on, he is so gracious with his fans.
This Is Us really touched people on so many levels. The best show ever The podcast is making me watch it again. Wished Dan won some writing awards. Mandy as well should have been nominated
I just have to tell you how much I have been enjoying these podcasts! I truly love the dynamics between you three. It is very evident that you have a special bond that transcends your characters on the show. Watching the very 1st podcast inspired me to start watching the show from the beginning again. You are all absolutely INCREDIBLE, and yes Sterling K. Brown that laugh is something sooo beautiful!
You guys are KILLING it. This is everything I want a rewatch podcast to be!! As perfect as the show was!! I can only hope that you 3 really can make it through every episode and season. What a gift!
Love you guys!! You have such a great energy and uplifting dynamic to reduce the sadness we feel during this rewatch journey because of how emotional the show makes us ❤️🫶🏻
this podcast is phenomenal!! thank you for addressing mental illnesses (in respect to perfectionism for example) - this is brilliant and needs to be addressed so much more in our society!!
Happy to look forward to SOMETHING "This is Us"-related again on a weekly basis. Oddly making for a good workout listen lol. Also happy you guys are uploading video as well!
I was so enthralled with this show - every week, it just grabbed on to my heart and emotions and held it way past the credits. It is a joy to listen to these three talk about the various scenes and make me look forward to watching the series all over again. I can't do it weekly like I originally did, because I know it drags my emotions through the wringer so know I'd better survive the emotional distress by binge watching. Let me buy more tissues first!
i agree with Sully - it was sooooo funny! I literally laughed out loud at EVERY.SINGLE.EPISODE. The writing and delivery was brilliant with ALL The characters - even the kids! Literally so real and many things make me laugh. That's why I became the biggest fan as it made me a less serious person and less OCD and more vulnerable.
we would love to see every single cast member of the show here with you. Que increible programa!!! Que increible verlos juntos de nuevo! Love you guys!!
Thanks, y’all, for making this podcast! I’m watching “This Is Us” for the first time through, ever. But through the years I’ve heard a lot of the big plot pivots. I can’t wait to hear y’all break down what we see on the screens and how y’all experienced it! 💚🖤💚
I absolutely LOVE this podcast! It has been the catalyst that has encouraged me to rewatch the series. That has helped me reconnect to my feelings. Thank you for creating this beautiful work of art! 💚💜
Just found these. I see I'm a month behind. I don't know if I"ll catch up to where they are. But this is amazing. Watching the podcast then watching the episode they talked about afterwards.
I am loving this podcast so much. If you all are taking requests for special episodes or topics, may I humbly suggest a collaboration with actor Justin Baldoni (of Jane the Virgin) and his "Man Enough" podcast. One of the things I absolutely loved about This Is Us is how it showed men learning how to live positive versions of masculinity--and I think that speaks to a lot of men (and women!) who are navigating changing times and a national conversation about "toxic" masculinity. It seems like the actors of this show are really living out these lessons in their real lives as well (can you imagine talking about therapy and disregulation publicly even ten years ago?).
Absolutely love this podcast! Tuesdays are my new fave day and I’m watching the one episode each week alongside the podcast. Thank you for sharing all your amazing thoughts and experiences from making the show!
I absolutely LUV this podcast!!! (Thank you, You Tube for having it on your channel, as I am a VISUAL learner, so it’s easier and more interesting to WATCH podcasts as opposed to just listening to them.). Am enjoying rewatching “This Is Us” (my fav show) along with you all, and hearing the bts stories and analyses…
I don’t know if this comment section can handle my unpopular opinions about Miguel 😂 but here I go: SPOILERS 🚨 1. His positive effect on Rebecca’s life was extremely underrated. He was a rock to her as a friend and as a partner and put her always first. 2. Even when I was shocked by that ending revelation on the 2nd episode I think they had already given us enough information to trust Rebecca on her decision. 3. I wish we would’ve had the chance to see even more of his funny side. One of my favorite parts of the show are when Miguel, Beth and Toby can’t handle the Pearsons intensity levels. (Maybe I’m wrong but I think they mention they had their own chat group??) still he is so loyal and respectful to Jack’s memory 4. His story doesn’t get the attention it deserves… one Miguel episode was waaaaayyy too little for me. This is the man who not only grew older with Rebecca but the one who cared for her until the literal last moment of his life.😫 5. Last but not least, when I tell you that I was waiting for those last minutes on that train to play out differently…. 🚂 i’m not joking. Yes Jack was the love of part of her life, the father of her kids, but those last years… i don’t know. .. I know it sounds unrealistic of me, but he was so deserving of spending eternity with her … they don’t even talk on the train… 😭 But I also think he did share the best moments of their life, decided to stick together, helped each other move on, were great companions, supported each other. Maybe that’s the role they were supposed to play in each other’s lives, I don’t know… Do I sound crazy???😅
All 3 of you are beautiful people. I love this podcast. The show touched my heart in so many ways. Now your podcast is touching my heart.❤ PS.... karo syrup is in my cupboard. 😊
Thank you so so much for this! You’ve brought me something just for me to look forward to again as Tuesdays were my me time where I locked myself in room and had a snack and watched my show! ❤ I have this again with this on RUclips. Also downloaded it to listen to on plane during major delays! Helped me not lose it lol.
I've always been a HUGE fan of Mandy Moore her voice her acting all of the above but this show this one made me love her soo much more! Each and every episode made me cry 😢 loved all the cast❤
I am loving this podcast such much; it's so awesome to hear you guys reflect on the show and how much it affected you as actors! You talked about the scene with Rebecca and young Kate around food and how much times have changed in our understanding of nutrition over the decades. I was a premature baby at birth, 2 pounds 10 oz in 1953 , and the one thing they fed me was Karo Syrup and water to get me to thrive so my Mom could take me home from the hospital. I was in a special unit for preemies for three months until I gained enough closer to my actual due date to be able to go home. Your discussion around the Karo Syrup made me think of this. I love you all and I miss the show so much!
This Was Us was a great Readers Digest revisit of a great show. Really wish there were more original cast members that visited the podcast. Great job to Mandy, Sterling, and Chris.❤❤❤
I felt bad for Kevin and understood why he had a meltdown because he doesn’t just want to take his shirt off and say the line he wants a more serious role. But he’s just seen as the manny
I would love to hear how the discussions of weight loss and body image affect the actors like Chrissy and the younger people who play Kate. I enjoy the discussion of body image and weight loss and how it affects relationships, but I wonder how those actors processed the dialogue in the context of their own bodies.
This Is Us is the gift that keeps on giving! 🎁 Warms our hearts 💕every week listening and watching our favorite Pearsons 🤔Question - what happened to the aftershow?
Hi, folk! I’m here just to say that I love you all so much and this podcast is marvellous. I’m crying, I’m smiling, I’m feeling, I’m laughing, I’m thinking so so much. It’s definitely time to rewatch This is us once again and get through each episode with you all thanks to this podcast. 🥰😍❤️💙🫂

Sterling I thought I was the only one who loved the Dukes of Hazzard as a kid. Named my bike General Lee. Guess my parents didn’t want to break my heart 😂
Jack and Rebecca are my favorite parents and married couple since Charles and Caroline from Little House On The Prairie! Those two couples are the gold standard in my opinion on what kind of marriage I want to have and what kind of parent I want to be!

would LOVE to see Milo on here at some point!
OMG..YESSSS!! Milo pleeaasseee!!
I'm confident he will be
PLEASE!!
I bet it's in the plans
I’m hoping they bring him on for the Super Bowl and house fire episodes. Would love to hear his analysis of it.
Sterling's laugh is so infectious 😂!
Contagious 😅 Love this podcast after missing this show so much. Must re-watch!
Sterling's notes are such a Randall thing to do. Are they Sterling's notes or Randall's notes?
I'm convinced Sterling was casted because he is Randall IRL.
Mandy Moore is brilliant, indeed. I love Sterling’s commitment to always remind us how a phenomenal of an actress she is.
I totally agree. Mandy is truly phenomenal!
This show revealed how talented Mandy really was. Didn’t see that coming.
@@shanecadden5303 and she is a fantastic singer, too.
How much Randall wanted his brother to accept him throughout this story is heartbreaking
Do you know why this podcast is the best one around? It's not only about reliving again one of the greatest TV series of all time but these three amazing human beings are giving a chance to chat with us, fans all over the world, it's absolutely touching and brilliant.

I can't wait for them to review the episode where Randall and Kate are trying to remember the glitter fight. And how they both remember that day so differently.
William and Randall helped me to forgive my father, thank you.
Wow, that is powerful🥹❤️
@sophie__777 thank you.❤️
This podcast is bringing me so much joy, because I feel like we still have them..as we did when the show aired. Seeing them together reminds me of how much I've truly missed them! This Is Us was phenomenal on all fronts...casting, acting, writing, direction, production, score...everything!!

Did you notice in the very beginning of the episode, a close up of the crockpot is showed? Talk about a foreshadow to the fire.
Yes, I noticed that when I rewatched it! Dan F is such a GENIUS putting in all of these Easter eggs that we weren’t aware of when we first watched the episodes! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
😮🤯🤯
“Nobody cares because nobody likes Miguel” LMAOOO
So speaking about children/young people in the cast, Niles Fitch and Lyrics Ross had absolutely amazing presence for being as young as they were when the show aired.
Can't wait for Jon Huertas and uncle nicky to be on the podcast
So I planned to rewatch the episodes so I would be ready when it’s discussed on the podcast. I’m now midway through season 2. 🤷🏾♀️
Cause once you start, you can't stop!
That was my plan as well. I forced myself to stop when I got to S1 E15.
I’m rewatching and crying as though I haven’t seen it before.
Watching the development of Kevin and Randall's relationship helped me so much to deal with the relationship between me and my brother... Trying to convince him to watch the show
Thanks yall for doing this for us. So good to relive the show

I believe the show could continue after last season! Please think about it! ❤ I loved Toby+Beth+Miguel funny moments
Did we ever get that Sterling laugh on the show? Man what a laugh
Happy to look forward to SOMETHING "This is Us"-related again on a weekly basis. Oddly making for a good workout listen lol. Also happy you guys are uploading video as well!

Seeing the crockpot during the sweep of the kitchen 😢😢
Chris and the whole, "Miguel killed Jack" rumor! 😆 🤣 😂 😹
I just finished watching this series on Netflix; binged it in two weeks. So glad I found this podcast! Thanks for this

Wow I never knew what Webster meant. I thought kids were referring to the dictionary because he was so smart. Love this podcast!! 🎉
Loving this podcast. Looking forward to the next one and I will be watching the dvds again.
“Shes not intend on repeating herself” LMAOOOO AAHAHAHA
Oh my gosh, I just finished rewatching last month and I knew The Forever Now sounded familiar but never realized it was the theme song!
I feel so lucky, I only found the show 2 months ago and literally just finished binging it and I learn about the podcast! 😍🥰❤️
All 3 of you are beautiful people. I love this podcast. The show touched my heart in so many ways. Now your podcast is touching my heart.❤ PS.... karo syrup is in my cupboard. 😊

I've just started season 4 during my 1st rewatch, man, it's hooked me more than the others! Can't believe I forgot how good it was.

Dukes of hazzard as role models, lol. I'm in the UK and it was mandatory watching 😂😂😂😂😂

I'm loving this podcast and really love this show! Oh the cliffhanger to this episode had me....like every other! You have a regular listener here!
Love this episode! The first was amazing as well but I can see it just will get better and better! The support part at end is heartwarming ❤
“That’s not for you knock it off”
“You’re not apart of it”
“You’re not apart of us”
LMAOOO AHAHAHAAHAHAH
Reliving This is Us with you all is awesome.
OMG, Karo is what I’ve used all my life. Thank you! Somebody else does it too!
The behind the scenes footage would be awesome to see!
Everyone was truly shocked with Miguel’s appearance at the end of this episode, but time just cleared him 😂
“You saw my Beyoncé”
“I was chafed to the point of ointment”
LMAOOOO AHAHAHAHAHAH
Please have MILO on the show one of these days 🙏🏾♥️
The final show aired 2 years ago last Friday 5/24/22, my birthday😊
Would love to see snippets of the show when they’re talking about them
Wonderful Podcast ❤ Wonderful Show ❤
“I don’t want to wear that bullshit” LMAOOO AHAHAHAHA
I felt bad for Kevin and understood why he had a meltdown because he doesn’t just want to take his shirt off and say the line he wants a more serious role. But he’s just seen as the manny
Loving this podcast! ❤ This is one of my favorite TV Series of all time! Kisses from 🇧🇷
I would love to hear how the discussions of weight loss and body image affect the actors like Chrissy and the younger people who play Kate. I enjoy the discussion of body image and weight loss and how it affects relationships, but I wonder how those actors processed the dialogue in the context of their own bodies.

I don't think I'll ever see something again this iconic in my lifetime. Although Fogelman and Olin MUST have something up their sleeves 😉
I love me some Sterling!!😂
Sterling I thought I was the only one who loved the Dukes of Hazzard as a kid. Named my bike General Lee. Guess my parents didn’t want to break my heart 😂
muito boa essa interação que ocorreu no final. amei!!!❤
Why does Sully literally look and feel like Sully from Monsters Inc in a way? I totally get the same vibes!
Lovin’ this! All of it!❤
Jack and Rebecca are my favorite parents and married couple since Charles and Caroline from Little House On The Prairie! Those two couples are the gold standard in my opinion on what kind of marriage I want to have and what kind of parent I want to be!
Love this podcast 🩷📺🖤
My mom married my dads best friend years after their divorce. He was my uncle and then my dad. He called and asked my dads permission. He was my best friend. I lost my Miguel in December and I miss him so much
I’m so sorry for your loss 🤍
Love this podcast
I had no idea the actress who plays Tess is named Eris! That’s my daughter’s name & I was shocked when Sterling said that! ❤
I’ve already listened to the podcast on Apple Podcasts but wanted to watch to see your faces.
Sterling is too much just like Randall, wish they can get someone outside from the cast to steer the conversation. Sterling is only one talking
