I wouldn’t say the show is sad but it’s truly emotional, it makes you FEEL. As we get older we tend to tuck away some hard to confront feelings about our journeys in life and to me this show inspires me to be a better parent, partner and overall better person.

This is Us had tbe best casting ever. Everyone was amazing and couldn't imagine anyone else playing their parts. Almost done watching the whole series for the 3rd time.

Susan saying that when people meet from a broken place and one of them is healing, it's hard for them to stay together. Toby was healing and thriving, and Kate was still dealing with a lot of baggage and not healing at the same pace as Toby.

The Pool was one of my favorite episodes!

Beth's little laugh/giggle was hilarious.

The play rehearsal scene with Kevin, William and the girls had me dying this time around! I don't remember if I laughed this hard at this scene when I first saw it, but this time, it was so damn hilarious!

In defense of Rebecca and Jack, I didn't know that we need sunscreen until I reached my 40's. I got my first sunburn at the age of 45.

This episode touched me personally on multiple levels, from the kids bullying Kate, to the black mother giving Rebecca some advise on caring for an African American child, to Kevin almost drowning in the pool, but the part that hit me most this time around was the inteaction between Jack and Kevin afterwards. It mirrored my own interactions with my son, who is now around the same age as Kevin then.

Folks, I do not have friends. Thanks for giving me the interaction I really needed. I am a big fan of all of you and your work.

I always knew that “I’m still black though” line was ad lib 😂

Probably the most underrated relationship of the entire show was the relationship between Randall and Deja. It was always so true and pure.
