On doit sauver VENICE!

So much care and patience in all this work. So glad there are people who can do it. Had a week in Venice in 2009 and have never forgotten it.

I’ve had the good fortune of being there and must say that everything this man is describing is true. La piu Bella citta del mondo! His sensitivity is wonderful. Thanks for reviving great memories.

Thank you! The tiles on the floors and walls are magnificent! Do you know the Ca' Rezzonico? Famous composer Cole Porter from my hometown, Peru, Indiana, used to rent it in the 1920's and had fabulous parties there. Wish I could see Venice again. It's been a long time.

Restoring Venice is like a never ending battle. It pays the price for being a tourist attraction. If it wouldn't be the water and the decaying buildings, it would be just an ordinary city
