My favorite ancient site ! Can only imagine how it looked like when it was active. The main healing method , if I am not mistaken, was water fasting , apart from resting using the spa facilities. Thank you for pointing out that there is much more to see apart from the theatre
I heard they used psychedelics too, but I don't know much about the actual practices there, I think Ancient Messini is probably my favourite site, but Epidaurus is close! I agree though, the site as a whole is overlooked for the theatre, which is a shame.

Incredible place, we live a few minutes outside of Nafplio and we there a few days ago with old friends from Toronto. Where are you living Andrew?
I am in Arcadia, about 25 to 30 mins from Nafplio, though I am actually currently in the Uk visiting family! back later in the summer.
