I saw a bunch of bitty baby clothes at a garage sale yesterday and thought of you. It was tough to pass them up but I don't have any bitty babies. I've been watching your videos since the beginning and I love the baking soda treatment for my second hand monster high dolls - works great!
Hi Shelly! I learned from American Girl Wiki and other collectors that dolls from the 2000s (they didn't mention Bitty Babies) have a tag on the inside of their right shoulder with numbers 0-9 and letters A-L. The numbers represent the years 2000 to 2009, and the letters represent the months January to December. One number and one letter would be punched out, and those would be the year and month the doll was made. I took apart my #16 Lisa doll to clean her stuffing and torso (thanks for the tip on her neck strings!), and with that tag I discovered she was made in June 2003. So she would've come in the Go Anywhere outfit like your doll Amber! Sorry if you already know all this, but I don't remember you mentioning it anywhere.😁

It's a cat :) My sister has a friend who is moving, and all the people who were supposed to take her cat in backed out. So hopefully it works out and Oliver can have a napping buddy again!

I keep seeing tons of AGs at my local thrift shop - but they're still charging at least $65. Is that good? There was an AG boy doll I kind of wanted to get. 😐
That's on the pricey side for a secondhand American Girl at a thrift store. However, it would depend on who the doll is and if they are wearing the proper clothes. I paid $75 each for my Girl of the Year Lindsey and Lea dolls at the flea market, because that was a pretty good deal based on their completeness. But if they are in the wrong clothes and not in the best shape, that's too much (in my opinion anyways).

Thank you so much :) It's Shelly, but no worries, everyone always gets it wrong ha ha! The early Pleasant Company Bitty Babies are identical to the Our New Babies, they just changed the sleeper. They still have blonde lashes today, just not quite as transparent (the cutie in this video has them) :)

This is a viseo that i will savour. I have all the original Pleasant Company Birty Babies and then a blond New Baby doll that is in very good condition except she was wrapped in newspaper during shipping. Really annoying. On Ebay she was perfect but when i unwrapped her she had grey/blackish ink on her. So unnecessary and easily preventable. I got a discount. I didn't want to send her back. Since i am in Canada, it would have cost too much to send her back with shipping costs so opted for the part refund. I love the delicate colours of the old dolls. I have one little redhead American Girl Bitty and ilshe is also lovely but the body changed a bit and she has a bit more colour. Anyways, it is so good to get caught up on your videos again. ❤
I'm sorry to hear that your Bitty Baby got ink stains from shipping. It's a good thing you got a discount. I like how the newer dolls have more color, although I still like them best without the eyebrows :)
I plan to at some point, but I don't know that I can fit all the girls in one video anymore (so I might just do an update, or split it into two parts) :)
