    If you never have turned on your power meters on your switchgear then you need to watch that part of the video. So you can learn how to have your meter functioning correctly.

    I’m looking through the comments and I could have sworn you were a local 3 member . You are definitely talented and deserve Top pay . You have a vast amount of knowledge . You can even be an instructor at the union hall

      That's actually something I would so love to do... Become an instructor at some point in my life. Not yet though, I still want to try to climb the ladder a bit more. Maybe become a project manager or something. I do want to teach though, maybe I could do both. Well that's what i'm doing now, I love teaching that's why I started the channel. I started with conduit bending because I started sending video's to my friend in Florida through youtube. I had them private for a long time then my friend to some of his co-workers and he asked me to open it to the public and I did. At first it was only a few specific bends, then I started get more requests for other bends. From there it just took off.

    go through the stop start switches for motors and how they are wired using the contactor and aux. contacts etc.

    • @TheArtOfConduitBending
      @TheArtOfConduitBending  2 года назад +2

      Great idea. Let me see. We don't really wire start stop push buttons. We usually install VFDs and the BMS contractor does the controls through BMS system. But I think I have a fire shutter I can do a video of that I remember doing and open close stop push button for. I'll see if I can do a video on that.

    Awesome vid. Couple questions if you dont mind answering. Why have two different bolt switches per service, why not one main disconnect per service? Also why are there 6 services in the building instead of 1? Do you guys use the building steel as a GEC for all the services? Thanks in advance keep up the hard work!

    • @TheArtOfConduitBending
      @TheArtOfConduitBending  2 года назад

      Why the 2 bolt switches. Well that just how the engineer designed it. The switch gear was designed by the engineer and put together by another contractor. We installed it and put the sections together. Why 6 services. The building is pretty big also they're are multiple tenants that will be occupying the building. Yes we use building steel for our services but we also supplement it with the water main. How this answered your questions.
