Electrical Troubleshooting - 277 Volt Lighting
In this video i will educate you on electrical troubleshooting on 277 volt lighting that is not turning on.
This is one of the most basic issues you will find out in the field so I hope with this video it saves you time. So you won't have to waste time trying to figure it out. When you are testing and troubleshooting always use a meter and not a pen tester. They do have there uses and you have to know when you can get away with using one but for the most part you want to use a meter. This issue is as simple as having an open neutral. The apprentice working on the lights was using a pen tester to troubleshoot the lights. He couldn't figure out why he had power at the light fixture, switch ...

Axis Lines & Benchmarks for electrical work
Просмотров 2,2 тыс.Год назад
In this video I will educate you on what Axis Lines are and how to use them to install your electrical equipment precisely in it's location. I will briefly show you how to use a benchmark to find correct elevations. Usually on large construction sites the GC will be in charge of laying out Axis lines where you can measure off of to pinpoint where your electrical equipment needs to be installed....

Nice work
Thank you, can I use this technique on a mechanical bender , and bend on centers
How to get it if the angle is 50 degrees for example ?
Thank you so much man. I was taught the radius adjustment, An old timer inserted a paper under the gap of the pipe to mark the exact point the pipe starts to rise
Impressive
Why the front of hook and not just use arrow?
How far back from the head do you set the knot.
Thanks for the tips.
I have a question. Why we don’t need add the shrinks ? Thank you
😂oh yeah im going back in tmr and bending that shit the right way now🎉
Wt actual F is this.
For a 4 point saddle using the hydraulic bender,do you think its easier to use the take up for your degree and bend on centers
You are a God send! Thanks for this video. You made this seem so simple! I had a lot of wasted attempts until I stumbled on this. Very nice work !
Good day brother. Do you have a video on OLM for offsets? Thank you
@@paperplanes8356 no but I'll add that to my list for New up and coming content. I'm going to give my channel an update. 4k video and 3d animation.
@@TheArtOfConduitBending all good I found it on the 4 point saddle push through. It has it there and how to find offset constant.
@@paperplanes8356 yes I have it on other topics and how to use. I have a full library of conduit bending videos. All of which I'm working on remaking.
Thank you. Does the gain remain the same, even though it has a bigger sweep.
@@paperplanes8356 no stays the same..
@@TheArtOfConduitBending thank you
In your concentric bend video I believe you said that your last mark of your developed length measurement is used as a bending mark, however in this video you are saying that both your front and back marks are not to be used at all. Is that because you are just laying out the spacing just a little bit different for concentric bends? Thank you I’m trying to understand. 🙏🏻
Do I need to adjust for the shoe doing segmented bends on an electric bender like the tripple knickle? Since you are bending at the front of the shoe for the hand bender and not on center of the degree of your shot? Thank you.
Nvm you answered it at 47:00 lol
@@williamellfeldt3401 glad you watched the whole video
I know this is an old video but I'm gonna comment anyways, your videos are helping me to be more professional in my job and make me wanna learn something new everydays for be a better electrician, thanks bro I hope u read this, I watching u from North Carolina
@@will-r2k glad to hear I'm helping. Stay tuned my brother. New updated videos coming soon. 4k , 3d animated tutorials and more.
@@TheArtOfConduitBending can't wait for see what u have for us, God bless you brother and thanks again
@@will-r2k everyone is going to love it. It's taking a lot of work and time. I'm hoping early next year
Do you use this method with 1” conduit too?
@@Cowboyfromda44 it's the same
Great content bro. Is there a video to understand offset constant?
Great job from another brother in the field keep up the good work my brother wonderful
Its awesome Sir how did you get Gain and constant
That formula is amazing I wish I had learned it sooner, thank you!
For the spacing for the 90s would it supposed to be 4inches from center to center of the conduits? I must not understand something since the spacing you measured is 4inches in between the two 90s Thank you.
Great content brother. Sorry if this is a dumb question but can you also mark your center of bends using the developed length and hook method as well?
I really appreciate you going over the spacing for the conduits going into the box at the end of the video, I was about to type in how you figure that out haha Thank you again for your videos they have all been fantastic!
ENGLISH! LEARN IT!
Man, I wish I saw this about two weeks ago. That’s about how long it took me to figure out what the hell I was doing wrong.
Great Knot, I pulled 275' (that's almost a football field) of 250/250/3 aluminum with a 1/4" yellow poly rope. It got tight like a banjo string at times but it came out the other end! Whew, what a knot, what a pull, I did it by myself on a Texas 100 plus degree day and was moved to tears of joy when it all sunk in, thanks for the video, I have been fretin over that pull for two years, ha you helped me kick its ass!!!
So how would you mark it on a new piece of pipe? And were would you line up marks on on bender? On the notch
Thanks bro . Local 332 appreciates you !
Hell yeah, i winged a compund 90 a few months back it came out good. Yesterday i tried the same and couldnt remember how i did it lmao. Thanks for this video now i know exactly how to get my layout. Lol definitely subscribing!
Super good brother! Came here cause I’m doing ocal.
Thank you so much I’m so glad I stumbled on your channel
Great
What if I’m using a Chicago bender?
Bro everything in this video is terrible and your foreman has to be fucking with you kendorf and straps got me rollin on the floor 😂 don’t even get me going on the off sets
Earned my subscription keep up the good work, my brother journeyman
Thanks for the rolling offset video.
Thanks man my foreman roasted me today cuz he asked me if i knew i said no now im trying to learn to give him the actual answer next time
This is not a rolling offset you need your set this is just a offset
Melvin or anyone else commenting on this post. I have a non-electrical question regarding MCC building construction. I see the floor was covered to protect the epoxy floor coating. We are about to start a new project constructing a switchgear building. From a sequence starndpoint. In your experience, when should the floor be prepared and epoxy coating applied. We were thinking after the ductwork and cable trays are complete. The floor needs to be clear so the coating is installed across all surfaces and under the gear. When is the gear and cables installed?
So question , what/does anything change in regards to conduit size?
you should grab the biggest conector. i hasd to bring 3 in liquid tight conectors into a pull can
Dude your a good teacher ! thanks
straight pipe is fast pipe! yup i allwys use a pencle! also you can right on unfinished sheetrock! good video Brouther ! thanks
Top dawg shit rite here brother
7/8 kindorff
Good work ! What do you mean by cross cables
At section 19 mins40 seconds your explanation of the marking of the 90 with the box. Do i use the back end of 90 or are u saying just put on a straight piece of pipe to intersec our pipe were laying?
