As a defender myself, there’s nothing more satisfying and rewarding than tackling the ball off an attacking player. It seems so under-appreciated these days.
@@lanky3128 i’ve had to deal with so many of those types of players. It only makes me play more aggressive against them. Then they bitch and moan about it. Im always like “it’s a physical game. Dont like it? Then play golf”
Running after the attacker Taking the ball off his feet Without going into takle With the right timing Without touching or dropping the opponent It is for the strongest and most brilliant
@@ardinsalim9048 Also I think you might be missing some context. Like, did he say that when he was 40 years old and had to adjust his game? Or do you not know that in football it's not just mistakes that lead to openings for the opposition but a combination of many things. You could be covering for a teammate for example.
Aside from the lovely tackles which I absolutely Love...I also love the fact that majority of the guys that get tackled, just get up and carry on with the game...Some players role right out the stadium when they tackled, and I think that "Pretending" is absolutely disgusting.
Defenders are the unsung heroes, they let the flair players take the praise for the goals and assists but if you ask any knowledgeable football player they will always pay deep respect to their team mate defenders
Majority of these, if not ALL of them nowadays would be yellow or red cards because you can't get the ball anymore in tackling without some form of punishment. Great video
Yup the game is just not that much fun to watch anymore. The diving and stuff is encouraged by microdefining what is and what is not a foul and defenders can no longer make a good challenge. Sad
Not for all I just started getting real training for a local team cause I just moved back to the uk I used to live somewhere where football is not as big so I never had training but my tackles are very clean
as a sergio ramos copy (defender) or alexander arnold copy, i literally LOVE when i get a tackle that doesnt get you any fouls and you stand right up as if nothing had happened
I like it when they slide in and take out the other player and the attacker just slams onto the floor and goes rolling and you get up and collect the ball and they're still rolling.
Defender here. I love a good tackle, but I rather nutmeg, chip or score a rocket. It doesn't happen often (I try to do what i'm supposed to) but it's more satisfying by a mile.
While I agree that a clean tackle is very satisfying, I couldnt disagree more. The more satisfying thing in football, by far, is a nutmeg. And of course, getting control of the ball after it.
There is a lot more to it than "getting the ball" . Angle, speed, follow through, what part of the body is used etc. I haven't actually counted but more than 50% are completely clean. There is either no contact with the opponent or ball is won fairly and the attacker trips over the defender.
Completely agree. There are a handful that are fine at the higher levels of play, but should be called at the grass roots because the players simply do not have the control.

Or flooring the cocky twat and leaving him injured whilst winning the ball

For me, it's satisfying as defender when I read attackers move. Intercept passes, stopping through balls.
Fully understand x3. Even better when the ref says it was the best tackle he has seen in months (Sunday-League level)

Maldini does that, he said “If I have to make a tackle then I have already made a mistake.”
@@ardinsalim9048 Yeah but that's horse shit tbh. Maldini loved a slide tackle.

as a defender making strikers fear you is the most satisfying thing
If i have to make a tackle then i have already made a mistake
~Maldini
Man that’s a beautiful quote
But it’s fun tho
Bullshit, don’t believe everything you hear… sometimes your teammate is the one that made the mistake and your just correcting his mistake
@@MohamedZizu ik. This is probably the most misused quote lol
He meant sliding tackle
Nesta tackle at 3:45.. full speed, all ball, player unharmed.. amazing!!
ball controlled as well
That was like a pit viper ambushing it’s prey. Crept up & kept getting faster as he got closer
Damn so satisfying!

They only do all that when theres a chance the ref will side with them. Most of these were obviously clean so they have no choice 😂

So true. Its shocking a good clean tackle is worthy a red depends on the force 😂😂

0:43 smooth as fuck Ollie Skipp
Mascherano the king of tackle.
Defending and goalkeeping is so unappreciated in football community.
when i play in either cdm or cb i love doing perfect tackles
Hummels' tackle is beyond perfection
That Rodri's MCI Vs Liverpool Fabinho was great, even if he had a open goal to score
I literally said "F**k" when it happened in the live game 😄
@@Qammar_GGMU it wad a rocket shot that came out of nowhere straight to the net. Nobody expected that
Getting that "all ball" tackle cleanly is really satisfying
Finally a football video with great music 🤘🤘🤘
Bailly and Wan-Bissaka made some really good tackles too
Apart from when they got beat 5 going on 10 nil at old Trafford by Liverpool 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️😎😎😎😎😎

Man professional football is intense.
Now this is the music that fits football just like it was in the early 2000's clips, not some edgy rich kid dissing people.
Brilliant footage, shocking sound track 😱
Excellent choice of soundtrack 👌🏽
It feels so good to just block a shot or a pass by sliding the best feeling fr
0:50 that Puyol touch is tough

Nice compilation. Well done !
Koulibaly's tackle is insane
Keep playing rock in all the vídeo 🤯
Personally, nothing beats putting the ball in the back of the net!
Nutmeg? 😜

Clean tackles naturally come after many years of playing experience and usually requires lotsa exertion.

Yes when our slide is accurate also the striker is laying on ground it is so satisfyinh😂😂😂
Wow loving d vid 👍🏾

SWEEPERS🔥🙌
Nesta tackled on wiltord is awesome
I told myself that João Palhinha was going to appear at least once in this video, and he did!
I saw Umtiti doing a great tackle!
Too bad that he is not performing wel anymore!
Best of luck to him to recover!
Mascherano was very good at this
The only thing stopping this from being perfect is the lack of replay. Some slow motion replays would really hit. Great vid!
Ramos is amazed 😄
Fair play is life
Subotic tackling was unbelievable in der CL Final
Carvalho the god of the sliding tackle
Phil jones head tackle is the best
Javiar Mashcerano was the king of clean tackle.
I love two footing people
Nainggolan literally has a tackle named after him and i dont think there's any clip of him 🤦🏻♂️
He was the first person I thought of when I clicked on this video
I was looking for someone to mention this the disrespect to that man…
The Lahm tackle
Haven't seen Wan-Bissaka either!!?
rock+futebol= perfeição
KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
Before I pressed start, I Already knew that Casemiro, El tanque, was here
some of these have got to feel better than scoring a goal
This is satisfactory, pity Wan Bissaka is missing. Dude makes so many of these tackles that refs side barely call blow the whistle

Nesta and other Italian is master at this
I like Tomori, Hummels, and kimpembe
one of Vidic on Kyle Walker
Isso disso que eu gosto raça jogo limpo na bola
I will not say any position is harder than another one, but pressure in defenders is definitely the same or even higher than in strikers.
that first ine tho
I love seeing strikers get chopped by a huge cb
Meanwhile Ramos and Pepe :

A lot of these weren’t even tackles, but actually blocks!
Iam not a defender but it so satisfying to wacth some one get tackled I don't know why
My fav is Kante's tackle vs KBD in UCL final.
shout outs to referees who made right calls on the tough tackles
I wonder how many of these the player with the ball rolled about like they'd been shot
Offense sells tickets, Defense wins championships
Nesta and only nesta .
Most of them are great plays but some are super dangerous and it dosent matter if they touched ball fist
What song ?
So sad that the most grown men and pro footballers crying like little kids after a great tackle

Koulibaly ✋
I'm a keeper, when I have to tackle somebody last ditch, I take one for the team and make the opponent feel like they swung a scooter onto their ankle

I hate when you make a clean tackle and the attacker rolls around in the penalty box
Surprised Rooney's tackle in the MLS didn't make it here
Clean tackle = Maldini + Ledley King
Who else?
You forget Nesta tackle against Messi
