Lucky for me my wife is completely supportive of building our arcade room. She still pulls me back when i spend a decent amount in a short period of time. Saying that.......She Told Me We Are Buying the Claw Machine. This is the first time she wanted to buy something beside Frogger and Sit-down Outrun (i did pick them up for her) long ago. The claw machine hits a new popular side of home arcades. I hope the Claw sells out and 1up uses the excitement to launch new arcade cabinets. Yes, we are buying the Claw....or i'll be sleeping in the car. Haha. I probably would have bought it anyways.

those claw machines open up and entirely new market for arcade1up. they also get them into the mechanical 'game' which potentially opens the door for real pinball machines. i won't be buying a claw machine but i'm sure a lot of people will.
I think so too, these should sell well. I just hope they don’t move too far away from home arcades.

I think if they're going to release a claw machine they could have at least tried to go for a 3/4ths zoltar instead. NWT has shown the license is possible. That would have sold out at preorder. This is the first time arcade1up has taken on mechanical hardware and this has defective written all over it. I just don't trust this company to put out decent controls and mechanisms. And why is it priced at $500 if it's not a licensed cab. I'm tired of this company making fabricated excuses like punisher not being able to be on future cabs because of violence etc. then we see the full game including the two towers shown in the capcom release.
I completely agree Mikey, we could’ve gotten Punisher on another cab it’s excuses on their part. I forgot to mention Evercade on my last response. lol I know it’s a Countercade but honestly I’m excited to see how the beat em ups play on it, it will be cool to compare to the 2 1ups I have. Claw machine looks really flimsy, I like the look of it but I’m not too sure about this one :)
Phil KI Pro was always $999 never sales tax never shipping. And the Claw machine will not be on display at Best Buy lol you are the best.

KI is back in stock. It was a glitch with their website because everything was listed as sold out. They have now since fixed it.

I don't understand the point of a claw machine for a "home arcade" honestly.
I think it works in your arcade, but I’m with you it’s not something I’m going to bring home. Maybe because of newer game rooms and resorts we go to is geared for this they thought why not let’s try it. Interested to see how they sell, seems a lot of people are excited.
ive had the ki pro since they came out i preordered it. the sticks kept miss inputing making it hard to do quarter circle moves. so i put real iL euro sticks and left the buttons stock plays great now.
After the video I noticed the sticks aren’t exactly perfect, but out of the box I was really blown away. Which number is yours?

Once KI Pro sold out... it won't come back there were only 500 made and they didn't sell well. I have no idea whether it was worth the money but rest assured they're not making anything close to it again. So in that respect you got a limited edition cabinet. Only possibility is that they sold the remaining inventory to a wholesaler like AtGames did with the $299 ALU's on eBay but I doubt it because they have warehousing the alliance entertainment now.
Which has me worried whether we'll ever see X-men in another form factor again. Or is what's left all that's going to be made. I'll have some decisions to make this coming Black Friday and hopefully then a lot of these will be on sale but like we were thinking maybe there haven't been big sales because they don't plan on renewing any licenses going forward.
Looking forward to seeing the KI pro review. Can't believe you bought that evercade lol. Any purchase I make the biggest selling point for me is being able to play online with the community. Not sure why but that's the biggest buying motivation for me.
Hey Mikey, the online is huge for me too. When I powered KI on last night I said I have Battletoads again :) I missed having this cab. If X-men comes down 499 or less man I’d do it 👊

After seeing the FOMO on Tron on eBay going for over 2k buying a KI Pro was a no brainer for me, good move you got one. I pulled the trigger a few months ago I paid a little more but glad I got one. Still got to put it together 😂 I’ll watch you do yours for tips buddy,

Have you seen the dimensions of the toys the claw machine can grip?
Not yet, but it looks about 6” if I had to guess on those capsules.
How much was the MK display model?

Totally sounded like Vader! Claw machine is a pass, think it will sell well so should be a win for A1up. Totally lucked out with KI Pro, timed it perfect!!! Agree that all A1ups should be built like that.
You and I are in the same boat with claw machine and these will sell out so hopefully we get something we’re looking for next time. I turned on KI last night before I went to bed it starts up differently than my old KI. There’s a few things I would’ve wished they’d do differently or improve, but it’s pretty cool :)

I feel sorry for people that buy that A1Up junk. I’ve moved on to commercial arcades. If you look hard enough, you can find commercial grade arcades for not too much more and sometimes for even less. I just picked up a Silver Strike cabinet in excellent condition and finished rebuilding it for a total of $400 and it has 4 games on it. Get smarter people.
