Dude, thank you so much for your video. This is exactly what I needed.
I own a SM7B, and as someone else as said, I never knew how necessary a mic booster is. The fact that this does exactly the same as the Cloud Lifter for a fraction of the price is insane!
Thank you again. Liked and subbed!
Never realized how necessary a mic booster is. Seems to get the job done perfectly. Appreciate the video man.
It makes a big difference with home studio set ups for sure!
I 100% need this. I have a Rode NT1-A which has very low volume. Never thought about buying a preamp.
Don’t get for your rode, it’s for dynamic mics only. Rode is a condenser. Get a regular mic pre.
Finding out these are pretty necessary for just about any dynamic mic on a less than 200 dollar interface.
Great review!
They are around $45 now 1yr later ...
Im Using Podmic with Scarlett solo gen 3 and Klark Tehnik CT-1 and it of course works however I liked your audio in Video - voice is very separated, can you share your settings? what app do you use to set up your mic?
Hello, question. Does have a crackling if your internet from your phone is on? Or even the phone is near?
I have noticed some crackling in one of the boosters I have. I was actually planning a video to talk about it. It totally could be interface from a phone, as mine is always close by on my desk. I’m going to test it out and see what happens. I just assumed the lower quality components in the booster where acting up at random.
Does it work with static mics ?
0:48 Pod Rodemic
Where did u get it from? There’s a big shortage for this product currently.
I bought mine from Sweetwater and had to wait about 6 weeks for them.
It's in stock today if you hadn't already gotten one
This is cheaper because Klark Teknik is owned by Behringer and it's manufactured in China.
Cloudlifter cost more because they were the first. Everyone else copy their ideas.
Makes sense
Cloudlifter costs more because it's manufactured in US, as compared to Klark Teknik that's manufactured in China.
When made in the USA, you will pay!
Behringer owns Klark Teknik. No thanks.
Sigh... shoulda known... It's behringer... that kills it for me. won;t buy UB's stuff . won't spec it for clients.
do you work for one of their competitors... I've seen you on several videos saying the same... nice copy paste BOT
