The path by the river Stour is part of the Stour Valley walk which starts at the Coombe bridge on the No2 Canal and finishes at wordley junction at stourbridge even through the old dudley countryside walks leaflet starts at quarry Bank. I have made a few videos of the old leaflets on my channel.
An excellent addition to the channel! It's a real shame they've had to block the New Hawne area off, but I'm glad they did if it helps to prevent further damage. If they restore it, that would be amazing. if they build houses, well... surely they'd have to do some serious work to strengthen the ground first. It was also good to see those other buildings on the way to Haden Hill - I had no idea there was another mining area around there, although as you said, it sounds like you have to be careful round that area.

Hya drew....not far from from there I'm sure there are some airducts of Netherton tunnel and also the old railway tunnel from from old hill to merry hill which is a bat sanctuary now...but please let us know if you find all this 👍👍
