Have mine still sitting in plastic in the garage. Never seen it actually installed. Looks great!! Gonna have to throw it on for the sunny weekend drives. Thanks!!
Greetings and Happy New Year from England. That is a very instructive video on the thorny subject of the S2000 tonneau cover installation and removal so, many thanks. Your car is beautiful by the way. Mark
Thank you for the great video, now I understand how it goes on. On my first S2000 I never used it because the top wasn’t in great shape but I just bought a near perfect 2007 Laguna Blue with 20500 miles for my 65th birthday and plan on keeping this one for a long time. I really like the way it looks on the car plus it will keep the top much cleaner. Thanks again and enjoy your beautiful car!
I am glad it helped. As I said in the video I find it harder to remove than to install. Sounds like a great birthday present! I got mine in 2017 when I was 66. Why should the young guys have all the fun?
@@s.p.ltd.3886 you may not believe it but I have an s2000 with the exact spec as yours! I am from Austria ( Europe ) though. This really helped me thank you! I am 18 and I am sure having fun with it! Thanks for the cool video!!
Thanks man ..... I searched a bunch of videos looking for just this. Mundane subject but when you need to do it it's like .... Wait ...... How does this thing work??????? 😅😅😅😅 So...... Thank you!
@@s.p.ltd.3886 What would we do without them? My wife just took a video of the S2000, in fact. I’m posting it in a few minutes. Stay tuned! I think you’ll like it… 🇺🇸🇯🇵
if you think the soft top tonneau cover looks nice, have you laid your eyes on the CR tonneau cover? In my honest opinion, the soft top tonneau cover looks like a soft, but to every man their own taste
Just purchased a 2004, it had some sun rot on the straps and the bar overhead tore out from the roof which is in good shape. Can the torn straps be replaced? If anyone has a cover I am interested
I assume you are talking about the elastic straps used on the S2000 top to insure that it retracts completely. These elastic straps have been available in the past from Modifry Products although it appears the straps are out of stock at this time. modifry.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=33_78&product_id=86 It also appears the owner is selling out. Good luck with your car. modifry.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=33_
I've seen a lot of s2000 videos over the years and I've never seen anyone show this getting removed and reinstalled. Thanks!
Your welcome,, thank you for watching and your comment.

Worst thing about the S2K. A real pain in the ass. I never use it. Does anyone know if there is a useable aftermarket replacement?
I like that car!
2.33 “ ding!!!!!!

Not worth the hassle to have cover on it
For some reason I don’t like how it looks On the car 🚗
