It actually worked, wow. I beat every other boss in the DLC within a few attempts, but I was stuck on this guy for about 3-4 days with no real progress being made in phase 2. I used this build and beat him within 5 or so attempts. Thank you.

My nerves are just about fried after 2 days of attempts and no consistent progress. I found your video and got to work on trying it for myself. For those who do not seem to have the same blood loss build-up, make sure your attributes match Bettergamingring's, otherwise it will show lower (however, I had it 180 and it was still good enough). Thanks for the tips and everything, it worked great!
I tried too have similar attributes but i don't even see that i have Blood loss build up

Just summon others to help, change your build, or learn the boss and keep trying. Like cmon man this DLC gives what you need to beat bosses. All you gotta do is put in more effort.

@@nero4624 you shouldn't "have to change your build". Also, summoning others, as everyone knows, makes the boss fight harder. Makes it more unpredictable and gives the boss a 60% health increase.

After spending 8 hours (not in total) of being stuxk on him, i got so familar with his his attack combo, but i could not figute out how to get past and dodge his light. After mimicing this build, i beat him in 1 try. You saved me from having s stroke, goated build

Thank you so much I used ur build and 1 tried him after struggling for 2 hours. Little recommendation, put on the stone AOW that coats your weapon in stones to even more easily break his poise

I’m confused on how to get the bleed to 223
@@Goofiestbloke I got mine to 218. I'm at 80 arcane and in the video he's at 81. Also I didn't use a Ancient Dragon smithing stone so my weapon is at +24 and not +25.

Thank you so much I was having a nervous breakdown on him lmao + I would add this for others : I was in NG+4 so the heavy attacks doesnt stun him. But the lion claws one do so at the beginning of phase 2, rush at him and do the lion claws just when he starts floating and as someone else said you can avoid the explosions by doing the riposte. Then you can again break his stance with the tears and 2 lion claws for ending it. Only use heavy attacks for blood loss in ng+, not for stun.

Any idea why my weapon doesn’t have blood loss as a passive?
@@joshuastoll6808 yes, you need to choose an ashes of war with blood as affinity
@@joshuastoll6808 ye like he said, at a site of grace you click on ashes of war then select the weapon, choose a ashes (lion claws is very good indeed) then select bleed as affinity (it's after you choose the ashes) and you're done
@@bettergamingringno matter how many times I hit him with charged attacks or lions claw, his stance will not break, plus my mimic tear dies if like 5 hits (plus 10) I don’t know what to do to beat him
if you cant stun him when he's standing there after the phase 2 transition you can heavy attack him again when he's floating up in the air and that stuns him and you can get immunity to the explosion by doing the riposte

Thanks a lot! That worked - even if it still took some time and I needed to re-spec from my Faith build. In the end Mimic and I died the same second as Radahn but I took the win 😂😂
I’m on NG+6 and was over 150 attempts into this fight before realizing I need to change strategies. This is the first video I found. 3rd attempt after switching? Demolished him! Well done tarnished!

How did you get 223 blood loss. I did everything in the video, but I only have 128 blood loss

I tried several different builds over the last several days.. This worked for me in under an hour... I never realized bleed scales with arcane like that 👍

Took me a few attempts, but definitely worth it! If anyone is struggling (so like everyone), I'd suggest trying this cheese.
Beat it after a couple tries with this, this is insane, also quite funny for pvp, definetly making an alt with that build, thanks!

DO NOT SUMMON THIOLLIER AND ANSBACH!!! They increase his HP by a lot.
YOU STILL GET THEIR QUEST REWARDS! So there is no reason to summon them. If you are able to summon them, you basically already finished their quest line. Defeat the boss, reload area, then you'll get the quest rewards.

Can confirm that this build absolutely wrecks him.
Just beat him with most of this build. I used a great shield and the golden braid talisman. I also had rot breath incantation equipped and a seal so my mimic tear would use it occasionally. It still took me about 10 or so tries, but I finally beat him!

Using the strat right now. I've gotten radahn all the way down to the first part of his name before I gave up for the time being.
Came back later in the day and beat him in two tries. I changed up things by adding white mask to my helmet and lord of bloods exaltation.
whats the scadutree level and spirit ash level, also is great jar needed if your still heavy load anyway?
i highly suggest going down with the jar to med. Load - If i cant equip a whole armor set im just trying out what combinations work iwth changeing the leg and hand armor, hope that helps, scadutree level was 10 at this time

this boss has me wondering when its my turn to attack, i cant even summon mimic because after i dodge the initial purple spin he SPRINTS right at me

I re-hauling my stats with a larval tear tomorrow and trying this. I hate this boss it almost had me in tears when I quit earlier.
This is the absolute best way to beat him as far as cheese. Tried the busted purfume build, and it's too low and too slow for this. This is perfect, 6k bleed proc, and 2 hit staggers are perfect
btw, i am sure summoning those 2 guys at the front only makes the fight impossible, i did all those sidequests thinking it will be easier, turns out his life pool more than triples with them around, will just summon my mimic but on phase 2 , using this same armor of solitude, the greatest shield with holy negate and i found a huge bonk weapon that is pure insane......will take some time and this video is pure gold, will study it well and try again soon.
also i am at 17 blessing, dunno if i should bust my ass looking for like 3 more blessings or not waste my time on it....

I followed all step by step, I respec to Rennala in order to have the same statistics but it doesn't work for me .. I'm on the verge of a nervous breakdown 😂😂
Was using same weapon but leaning more into strength with 40 arc. I was still getting worked

How are you breaking his stance instantly in phase two meanwhile i cannot do it even i do two charged attacks
for me it worked all the time, maybe because i did only once in phase 1 early, maybe try to use your physick before phase 2 and try to use cragblade ashes of war gives 15% more dmg and 10% more stance breaks

They’re gonna have to heavily nerf him
This shit drives me crazy, I hate when the boss just rushes you straight away when you enter. Doesn’t matter what I do I only get to attack him maybe 1 in 10 times before he chops my fucking head off. I did everything you have said, used the exact same gear, pots and when I finally get the 2nd phase and rush heavy him it doesn’t stun him and I die. This is the by far the hardest bosses in the dlc imo.
it is actually the hardest in hte whole souls franchise, everyone is saying this. If you cant stun him then maybe try to avoid getting hit by this attack but I HIGHLY recommend to have at least 60 vigor with the talismans i showed for actually surviving at least 2 attacks
@@bettergamingring yeah I think my vig is around there. I will just have to keep trying. This is my first souls game so I wouldn’t know. My stupid mimic doesn’t draw agro much at all
@@jaso890 ah well yeah take your time and dont rush it, also as a veteran trust me, breaks are worth it, dont fu you up till youre frustrated af, take a 10 min break, watch a tree or something and then get back to it, youll eventually get him and i think in the dlc the bosses are hardly programmed for not aiming spirits at all thats on purpose in my oppinion, its crucial to learn some dodges

I wish I saw this before I did a shield and poke game to win. The fps dropped way too much for me to even attempt sprinting or rolling away that bs nuke attack.

I wasted like 4 larva tears to respec and try different builds and weapons and still couldnt beat his 2nd phase, i was level 218 on ng+ and had all scadutree fragments. After 50 or so tries i stopped caring and used your build and killed him on first try. Now i can move on from this game, probably wont play the DLC again honestly.
nice brother im glad to hear it but let me tell you that with the right builds even the dlc makes fun, check out my other videos in which i show so freaking amazing builds that destroy the dlc like literally with one build i 3 hitted messmer lmao!
@@bettergamingring That's the thing bro. I want to use my favourite weapon which is the Great Katana because I love it's moveset. But man the late game bosses literally punish me for using it. For every later boss it's like I have to do a full dodge puzzle only to get 1 hit on the boss, even with high poise I get knocked on the floor if I go for another hit. It was kinda annoying. I can do this build but sense I want to complete the 2 npc quest, summoning them, the health bar of the boss increases and their poise and other status resistance. Another thing is where is his hit box, i tried this build, use the weapon and hit him with a heavy attack, it rarely input as such. Can anyone give me advice for this boss fight, I'm in ng+3
in ng+ its the same just with more skill needed obviously, my tip is to learn his patterns, it will help you to dodge this combos and then youll have more than enough time to hit himwith a fully charged heavy, just literally dodge his attacks
