I've emailed Gree AC in my country twice with no reply so I may call them to find out once and for all if there is a separate WiFi module required.
Why my Gree inverter is unable to find WiFi the network? I reset it as per given instructions (press & hold the turbo+mood button) and heard the reset beep but when starting to find WiFi network it's unable to find any network dispite I have placed the WiFi router very near to the inverter
because its made in PRC

Looking for some assistants with the app. When i am trying to add another unit it get to the part to select the wifi and put in the password but always fails to connect. Has any one else have this issue and if so how did you ultimately get it to connect. Thanks
Your problem is with the WiFi connection, but when you hold down Mode + WiFi does your beep air conditioner make a sound. If it does not release this sound you did not press Mode + WiFi well! Hold down for over 5 seconds until you hear the sound .. .
@@dritonferatiofficial i used the other method of holding mode + turbo because i dont have wifi option. But it still doesnt beep over 30 seconds.

not working, it find the Gree wifi, and then my router wifi, and can connect to both, and then search for 2 seconds and ends wit an error.

@@Cbogdann yes! I used an old OnePlus 3 phone with android 9. Then it worked immediately. So... I guess the app is not made for Android 12.
As soon as it found the ac it also became visible on the new phone running Android 12.

I have the one without the Wi-Fi button and no hotspot with the GR name shows up. The ac does beep after holding mode and turbo. I’ve tried it sitting next to the machine and still nothing was found. It’s in an apartment I’m renting and I have no information on the specific machine I have.
I ask about it we can operate our ac through WiFi at any area or specific in Wi-Fi range.

When you’re miles away or anything you can select the (away) option which lets you control it from any network
So, as I understood, you have to press MODE + WIFI button once to reset the wifi before start and then a second time when the app is searching for the ac unit, is that correct?

You are trying to press MODE+WiFi and the air conditioner beeps, but there are times when you only press MODE+WiFi once, the connection works, there are times when you have to press it twice, just like you said!

I bought a Gree AC from China.
But now I came to know that, the AC needs decoding. Without decoding I can not use it in my country for the country lock. please help!

We have 2 Gree units, and the one in the top condo, turns on the one in the bottom condo. How to stop this???

Try MODE + WiFi try with both options, try to hold it for 5 seconds until I make a beep and try to hold it until the end that falls somewhere around 2 minutes !! And he answered me again.

Why my Gree air conditioner can't find a wifi network, i was reset, with turbo + mode, everything is ok, but when starting to find wifi, there are none wifi of my router... router is so close, and signal on my phone under clima is full.... :(

Kindly tell me that how timer use in this application and how a timer can turn off the ac after 2 hours or 4 hours automatically using timer option.

No it does not need to be turned on, but only need to be pressed 2 min "MODE" + "TURBO" and after that you can connect it with WiFi
