Really good video. I think when it comes to older players, it’s not just about their mentoring. It’s tempting to just play a team of brilliant U23s, but I’ve found you get better results with some older players mixed in, who may not have the same current/future ability as your young stars, but they have the experience.
@@harrydavid8333 I have friends who are passionate about it. Always thinking of what to say the press and how to respond. It’s just waste of time for me
A good tip for the good youngsters you have instead of giving them first team minutes, is to promote them into the First team training with the units tab. He will still be in the youth team but training with the first team, and you can mentor them.
I think Technical Directors are useless in my opinion as they typically don’t bring you that good of a staff instantly but over time it is beneficial. I prefer signing the best possible staff day one into a save by clearing everyone and sign the best possible members by attributes rather than delegating to the Technical Director.
On the point about youth players being in the first team? What happens if you bring up all the 5* PA players, but make them available for U18/21s games for 90 mins? Does that help?
Mbappe and Haaland AI in my save are overrated they trade places winning awards but when i play against them they never score lol. Real life they're BEASTS.
Having a playmaker role in your tactic is OVERRATED, i often play without one in 4-2-3-1 BWM Mezzala, 2 IF, 1 SS, 1 AF/CF. Player traits, mentals, team cohesion chemestry between players is more important they gonna make the goals happen. My BWM in support often arrives late in the box as much as the Mezzala to finish in the corners of the net.
It's not overrated, but a lot of people thinks you need a playmaker to actually pass the ball between players. If you know what you're doing playmakers are amazing since whole pitch is tilted towards them, but you actually don't need any kind of playmaker even in possesion based system
I think especially in 433 its common to NOT have playmakers, so they can’t be overrated. People just choose having playmakers because they like how the team plays with one. I don’t think any content creators ever promote that the tactics have to always have a playmaker either.
Overrated: Barcelona Reason: only became relevant in 92. They had a period of about 5 years where they were the best team on the planet from around 2008. Just because you’re the best team in the world for a few years doesn’t mean you’re the best club in the world. Far from it. That’s not taking into consideration the fact that everything they achieved between 2000 and 2018 is tarnished. People can deny it as much as they like but the truth is it’s been proven and all that success has a shadow over it.

Gonna throw it out there... Roony Bardghji, I know he has immense talent but he somehow never done it for me on that right wing
Random attributes and potential (within a range), I've had him be an absolute world beater in some saves and distinctly average in others.
@pandadoublexl yeah I mean I've seen him score some absolute beauts but consistent performances he struggled with for me
5 star potential on a player with 2 stars or less on current ability
You see how easily that 5 stars turns into 3.5 lol.
nah u just doing something wrong
always check the age. If they're over 19, move on.

Attending press conferences too. I just let my assistant do everything
the way to go!
Who overrates attending press conferences? No one likes it.

Only useful if you can’t be bothered to renew contracts of youth staff members, which is most of the time for me.
when i first read the title i seriously thought this was gonna be the Man Utd and Chelsea teams ingame
