Neapolitan living in London here. Great video, for me classic shoes are mainly British. Just bought a pair of brand new Crockett & Jones at a bargain price so it’s been a good Xmas so far! Cheers
I was looking for a video like yours for a fly on the wall insight into what menswear is like nowadays in London, where I am from, (pero vivo fuera del follon de Londres, hoy en dia!) and your was what interested me the most. Now for part 2. Thanks for taking the time!
EXCELLENT video. I appreciate the format, the commentary and I especially enjoy the impromptu interviews - These are rally fantastic. I look forward to seeing more of London through your eyes.
Great stores. It would also be cool to see a similar video on vintage used stores. I once found a Hermes tie for a $1 at a charity shop. I love the look of Thomas Farthing layout.
Welcome to my neighbourhood. @2.00 that is a Raglan style coat and it is more for casual wear… it doesn’t require a belt and looked great on you. Daniel Day Lewis worn one to perfection in the film A Phantom Thread.
I agree with you 100%, Crockett & Jones is overpriced and not worth your money. TLB is superb, offering excellent quality at a fair price. Their customer service is second-to-none. That nice young man called James nailed it. The classical British tailoring style from the 1930s to the 1950s is the cornerstone of formal elegant menswear; however, we must not overlook the magnificent contribution made by my ancestors, the Italians. Excellent video. Thank you!
Thomas Farthing for me is a man’s paradise to cloathing, I have many different suits in fantastic fabrics, including there shirts/hats and caps. Regarding there suits they are available with two different trouser style’s a classic (not so wide) and the Clark (wider bottom with or without a turned up) Great customer service well worth a visit.
Being 4 th generation of a family within shoe and leather trade please have a look a Joseph cheaney shoe manufacturer in my opinion some of the best footwear around even making one out a whole leather hide for the design and quality price it retails around 450.00 pounds for the work man ship involved making this shoe is fantastic and very over look compared to other shoe manufacturer, the style and model of this shoe is called,,,BERKLEY. also comes with different last fitting.
I bought a Cheaney for £40 from a TKMAX in Cologne Germany. Not the best example but its got a fantastic and comfortable Dainite sole and worn hundreds of times
Preference is personal whilst quality is universal. I’m an English gentleman of considerable age and dress accordingly. Almost all English styles, albeit some items are made elsewhere (for example, shantung ties). A few pieces from Brooks Brothers but I find their quality variable. My tip for anyone who wants quality beyond their wallet is to buy quality second hand items - clothes, shoes, accessories. There are quite a few online stores selling items in excellent or very good condition for a fraction of their new price. Even auction sites can reveal quality items if you are prepared to do some laundry. In all of this, my best friend is my local alteration tailor.
Style is personal. So, whilst I don’t wear very baggy items, I wouldn’t decry anyone who did. The secret is to wear what you (and closed loved ones) agree make you feel good. As for everyone else, let them do their own thing

Amazing. I'll have to check them out when I am there in May. I hope they change it up for Spring and Summer.

Looking forward to part 2

Not too shabby !...love the tour
Great tour, thank you!

Thanks!! That tie was a real Bargain !!
" interenchères " on the net :
full bags of ties ( 30?50??) for 1 euro :)
if there is no Hermès in it, avoid any lottery 😁
Loved the video. And definitely agreed with the C&J opinion, second hand is fine on that one.

thx for the report :)
happy new year :)
Yeah great I like mens fashion but I also like to here prices, great show
Great video.
I've been shopping for over 30 years at the Paul Smith permanent sale shop in Avery Row off Bond Street.
i like Paul Smith most of the time casual and colored ... lasting in time quality ... is the quality remaining today ??

My favourite stores in Jeremyn street is Harvie Hudson a traditional shirt maker and I prefer loakes to crocket, I do have both
@@andyfalcon5163 i hear you and I respect your view, however, I believe Pembroke are the most beautiful brogues ever made.
@@goggo9Trickers are the best along with Grenson's for Brogues
I have 2 pairs of Loakes but found Allen Edmonds much better.
Excelente video.
Please make video about Charity shops and the best unknown UK brands for sports activities like running
I can talk about Charities but not about sport brands :)
Is the name of the Spanish brand Maestranza?
The shoes I was wearing are from TLB shoemaker

great video , it would be good if you included Luca Faloni in the next video
Thanks man!! Is an Italian brand but they have a lot stores in London
Faloni feels to me like an overpriced Boggi. Pretty much same offer tho.
@@goggo9 I have a few items from both and Luca Faloni is a different price point but worth it imo
Just so you know Marylebone is pronounced Mar Lee Bone, the Lee part is very short and the Y is silent.

Très chics ❤❤
Great shopping tour, but the prices are missing, any reason 🤔
There're a lot of different prices :)
I also do prefer Spanish shoes. English lasts are generally more conservative.
That's true, Only Gaziano offers something better but what price ...
There are some great Italian shoes too but also at a price.

Who is the best knitwear mentioned? couldnt make out the full name
Need to visit Thomas Farthing 😊never been there
I think you missed a beat by not visiting Anglo-Italian in Marylebone - outstanding shop.
I know the brand but never tried, I'll have a look next time!! Thanks,
Oh yes. The island nation.
My GRANDFATHER was born and lived all his life in MARABEN.93 years in all. He would not have appreciated somebody trashing his pronunciation.
Jermyn street : if you are in the hurry about E.Green, avoid London and come in Paris they have "unjapaned" sizes 🤣
Jeffery West ?///
The best dressed are wearing hats. Otherwise you are not complete

Que bueno que esta traducido a español al final no entraste en barbour 😊

Prefiero los zapatos boliviano puro cuero de becerro
The chinos looked ridiculous, I really hope this extreme baggy trend calms down a bit in the future.
Great video otherwise!
Thanks man!!
To me those chinos looked fantastic if they got hemmed. Classic.
