Thanks fof the tutorial, I used 2parts adhesive to replace the broken plastic instead of using cotton like you did👍🏽

Are you using regular cotton around those bolts? or is it any special cotton fluff?

Same problem with my IdeaPad 5, I have to repair it two time both side hinges

Which screw driver you are using to open the laptop

Lenovo has a bad hinge for these laptops. The bolt at the end of the hinge rod slowly tighten when customers open and close the laptop over time. The bolt as it slowly tightens will eventually bind the hinge. When customers forcefully try to over come the bounded hinge, the hinge bracket will dislodge from the plastic connector on the display.

I had the same exact issue, it cost me Rs 800 to repair it.....this issue is very common with Lenovo Ideapad 5....its the most delicate and worst laptop I have ever seen....
