Sheringham stays = Forest survive, Oldham drop. No question (although it as good as happened in 1994, with Oldham dropping and Forest coming up)
Frank Clark could have taken that team serious places had Cloughie gone earlier. Guess Steve Cooper might still do that, but even if he does, there's no forgetting the two decades of tension and abject horror that came before the 2022 playoffs.

1992/3 was a bit of a transitional period out with all the 70/80’s players and the arrival with the next generation. Giggs, Shearer, Fowler, Anderton, Sheringham, Redknap, McManaman, Keane, Andy Cole, Batty, Le Saux, Les Ferdinand. Plus Cantona and Klinsmann.
These guys carried the early years of the Premier League.

This commercial smells of the 90s. It transports you to that era, there is an indescribable magic and yet, I don't know this period because I'm in 2002, especially since I'm French.
They should do this kind of thing again, it serves to humanize the players who are seen as robots, that's my opinion.

Back when breakaway leagues didn’t make the fans angry.
The Premier league has got to be the greatest thing to ever happen to English Club Football since the EFL was set up.
Nowadays, if a new breakaway league is announced, it could ruin the game for good.
And the intention to start the European Super league last year proved that.

Premier League came about to revitalise the sport. the 80s were dark days in British football. poor stadia, banned from Europe after Heysel in 1985, Bradford fire and Hillsborough meant the game had to change but sadly money has taken over the early Premier League years wasnt like that but now the gulf in the League is enormous.

Sky TV itself probably wouldn't have survived had they not bought the exclusive rights to the new Premier League. It was literally just Eurosport at the time plus a handful of other channels for like 50+ quid a month, never mind the astronomical install fee.
Oh and the dish attached to your gaff probably could have received broadcasts from other planets, the size of the thing.
