Although there are are exceptions to a lot of these, the ones I have the most trouble telling apart are leopards vs jaguars. Seems kinda odd to me, as there are fewer types of each one. There are lots of butterflies and moths, but a jaguar is pretty much a jaguar.

i'll try to explain while being the most brief -a panther is either a black leopard or black jaguar a puma is its own species and have a plain fur(like lion) -a mule is a hybrid between a male donkey and a female horse (but you right physically it ain't easy to distinct them) -a prairie dog is a rodent and a meerkat is a mongoose -for wild dogs an hyena there is a trick : look at the back cause hyena have slippy back(because their hind limbs are shorter than the fore ones)

Tortoises and turtles are also easy to tell apart - If they were on land, they were tortoises, if they were in the sea, they were turtles. The swedish names are easier to confuse. The swedish names for these creatures are "shield-toads" and we seldom feel the need to specify - if there is a need, we just put "land" or "sea" in front of "shield-toad". I've always thought that porpoise was a species of dolphin - apparantly, I was wrong.

Technically all tortoises are turtles, also not all turtles have fins. The main difference between them is that the tortoise is specialised for living on land whereas turtles can be found on land and in water. Also turtles have a flatter, more streamlined shell for swimming.
Leopards have a structure similar to lions, and jaguars look more like pumas, If you're close enough to spot the difference..... It doesn't matter cuz they'll both eat you the same way
I had to skip a lot of this video if not all of it, since I could tell the differences between these animals very easily. But good points were made on how to tell those differences, especially for those who don't go out and closely observe creatures or watch animal documentaries ~

Raptor's empire, Leopards live in jungles too. Leopards are ultimate big cats in terms of survivability. They are all over Asia and Africa. From humid jungles to freezing alpine countries or arctic tundra to deserts, leopards are there. I guess if we bring jaguars to leopard habitats, they too will survive and thrive. After all, leopards and jaguars are closely related. But it would be a real shock for jaguars to see a lion or a tiger.

Leopards vs jaguars was definitely the hardest for me. The easiest for me is probably turtles vs tortises, not so totally sure on that one. Also, what about mice vs rats?? I would have loved to see and knowned that one as well.

Cheetahs look nothing like the other two. They arent even in the same genus as they arent big cats. They have skinny tall builds and they have actual spots..leopards and Jaguars dont have spots, they have rosettes because they arent filled in all the way. Leopards rosettes are empty in the middle while jags have spots inside their rosettes.

It's quite normal as they are from same family, also Tarbosaurus is smaller than Tyrannosaurus Rex.
Tarbosaurus is smaller and has lighter skin more like green skin while Trex has a thicker and darker skin

From humid jungles to freezing alpine countries or arctic tundra to deserts, leopards are there. I guess if we bring jaguars to leopard habitats, they too will survive and thrive. After all, leopards and jaguars are closely related. But it would be a real shock for jaguars to see a lion or a tiger.
