This is the measure of a truly great comedy show. One still finds laugh out loud moments time and time again. The genius was in the writing and the chemistry of the main actors. One episode that cracks me up every time is a Christmas one when Frasier, Martin and Niles have to pretend they are Jewish in front of his girlfriend's mother. Hysterical.

Came very late to Frasier (never watched it in the 90s, started watching it during the pandemic) - but LOVE Roz. Hilarious, sexy, smart, down to earth, can dish it right back - but also a loyal and caring friend to the Cranes. Very much my type of woman. Mind boggling Peri Gilpin did not get a single individual Emmy nod for her work over the span of the series.
Sooo many reasons this show worked so well and too long but I adore the common person (roz, Marty, daphne) mixed in with Frasier and Niles so the humor hit on an everyman and on an educated man back and forth and all around. Sooo Great.
I loved the one where Frasier surprised her at her family's and pretended to be Roger, swept her off her feet and made her mean sisters jealous❤❤ Roz was always spot on with Fraiser calling him out on his crap ❤😂
Yeah, it's the dynamic that Frasier had with his buddies at Cheers: Diane was always the pompous know-it-all who clashed with her surroundings and when Frasier first appeared, people thought he was the same... but no, he always embraced that lifestyle that was very different from his, with curiosity and no judgment. It suited him well in this series, too. Of course, since here we see his everyday life, the contrast is more savage... and hilarious lol and keep both Frasier and Niles well grounded on reality as a whole, not only their reality.
Nobody could have played that role better dan Peri....Certainly not Lisa Kudrow who was the other choice. Peri has that animal Grrr that goes with the part... not to mention the way she brings sarcasm....Who else says Little Titmouse like she does...🤣🤣🤣
Her accent is the perfect contrast to Frazier and Niles…same with Daphne! I LOVE IT so much I’m going to watch it all day… starting now! Have a fantastic day! 🌻
This is one of the five most underappreciated sitcoms in TV history. It had a great lead, great ensemble who all were equal seconds in any scene they had alone with Kelsey (including "Eddie"...), and great writers.

Roz had some crack-up lines. When she was leaving Cafe Nervosa after too many jibes, Niles and Frasier are like, no please stay. Roz says, "No, I can't stay, the fleet is in!" Another one was her response to Niles' question as to what brings her to the cafe. Her burn on Niles was hilarious.

Frasier was the best. I laugh at the situations more on Seinfeld and I laugh at the dialogue more on Frasier. That's not to say that both don't have a fair amount of either. I bet people in the future will be acting out these scenes in drama classes/clubs throughout the world.

One of my favourite bits about Roz's dating life comes from the one with Jean Pierrie (the French guy), Roz takes him to the cafe to get Frasier to help break up with him but instead Jean is happy because he's been wanting to break up with her as well and then he has a conversation with Frasier about where to get a good steak while acting sad.
Ok so, Unfortunately I am unable too. Since Bebe had entire scenes dedicated to her. They would trigger copy right, unlike in this Roz video which was mostly less than a minute per clip. So it would never be able to be uploaded. And if I did cut it down severely to get past copyright it just wouldn't be a very good video.

Be careful about content ID copyright claims, thanks for doing a service to humanity by doing these compilations.

This may sound strange. But this is my favourite comment thread on all of my videos. All three responses not counting this one seem like what would appear on another much larger channel, Completely Ordinary comments.
I still can find new dramas/scifi/etc and series to stream that I've really enjoyed, but somehow sitcoms do not seem able to keep up the pace Modern Family was the last sitcom I really enjoyed, but most of the ones I've seen recently are pretty bad or average at best. I know I could keep looking but find other shows to keep myself entertained.
@@LauWo I ended up with, one hundred and forty two clips of footage. Which ended up being one hour and forty forty minutes, thirty eight seconds of raw footage to go through to make this. Also three hundred and seventy six thousand seven hundred and seven frames. So uh, maybe best too watch a normal episode of Frasier and take a shot every time there's a Roz dating joke. Also Maris remark, Dpahnes stories and every time they speak French would be good ones.

IIRC, Daphne is supposed to be from Manchester, her brother sounds more like a Londoner to me (American here) I’d think even if casting or the director didn’t know the difference Jane Leeves should have.
Roz right up until filming was supposed to be Lisa Kudrow. She and the people in charge knew she wasn't right for the part. She couldn't be the sharp tongue sassy person they were looking for. Within days after leaving she was hired to play Phoebe on Friends

Here's my issue with how they portray Roz. All series long they had her run through men like I change my socks. But when we see her around good looking men she acts like an awkward school girl. Take when she first met Clint Webber. She sounded like Leonard from Big Bang Theory. Same with the waiter at Niles party. The only time I remember her being what she's portrayed as was with Clive. And speaking of Peri Gilpin, I remember watching her dad on WPVI news in Philadelphia, Jim O'Brien. He died in a sky diving accident in 1983. Her brother Marc played Sean in Jaws 2. He passed away this past summer.

Probably due to his thin hair and his character acts out a person that followed his parents generation rather than the one he was in. His quotes and references reveal that imo. Roz right up until filming was supposed to be Lisa Kudrow. She and the people in charge knew she wasn't right for the part. She couldn't be the sharp tongue sassy person they were looking for. Within days after leaving she was hired to play Phoebe on Friends

Here's my issue with how they portray Roz. All series long they had her run through men like I change my socks. But when we see her around good looking men she acts like an awkward school girl. Take when she first met Clint Webber. She sounded like Leonard from Big Bang Theory. Same with the waiter at Niles party. The only time I remember her being what she's portrayed as was with Clive. And speaking of Peri Gilpin, I remember watching her dad on WPVI news in Philadelphia, Jim O'Brien. He died in a sky diving accident in 1983. Her brother Marc played Sean in Jaws 2. He passed away this past summer.
To be fair, most of the men she talks about she often says aren't especially attractive. Like the guy with painted on hair.

Probably due to his thin hair and his character acts out a person that followed his parents generation rather than the one he was in. His quotes and references reveal that imo. So he could easily pass for a 53 year old person.
