First Amendment protects individuals from government censorship. Social media platforms are private companies and can censor what people post on their websites as they see fit.

As an American, I never thought I would see the day our Congress threatening a private entity with arrest for censorship. I hope this is a red flag for every American.
Couple of things. First, a member of Congress cannot arrest anyone. They are constitutionally tasked with making laws, not enforcing them. I'd expect a congressperson to know - like, base-level knowledge for admission to the building here - that the 1st Amendment provides protection specifically from the government limiting speech. Twitter is a company, not the government, and is in no way required to serve as a platform for others' views if they wish not to be. If they want to be biased, they're free to do so.
