Hush Hush is up there on my list of locos I wish had been preserved. Perhaps had it been saved it rebuilt form and then been modified back to original form a bit like Dutchess of Hamilton we’d have an amazing museum piece for the NRM.
Then again, it not being preserved and having so few recordings of it helps add to the mystery and intrigue of Hush Hush.
I like the hush hush. It’s a very fascinating engine
I strongly agree.
And a stupid model for btwf
Hush Hush was the first prototype loco I found out about. I didn't know there was so much to it's history, or that it had a planned name of British Enterprise.
It honestly deserved preservation, most likely it could've been a static display at the NRM opposite Mallard and Dutchess of Hamilton.
hey chris did you know that hush hush´s tender was used and still does to this day with A4 number 60009 union of south africa
The rectangle dimension will rise from the ashes no reality will be able to kill the waft of our amy
I find The Hush Hush pretty fascinating and that they have a very interesting design
I'd never heard of Hush Hush. Fascinating story well told. And I like the way you overlayed the tale and the painting. Good painting, too.
wonderful painting Chris
thank you for another wonderful video Chris
Wonderful hush hush loco
How long before we start seeing some of the German experiments? 😂😂
great paint your engine 🚂👍🚃
Bob Ross would be proud of u
Do you think you could paint an LMS stanier 8f next? it's my No.1 favorite class of train / locomotive
How many more of these locomotives got on tape
Such a fascinating engine this was. I'm honestly surprised Gresley didn't try the ship boiler on the P2s. Or maybe he did and it wasn't recorded, who knows?
a cocktail stick will help with details
How have I missed this episode previously? Will you be doing more? :)
It depends if people want more
The hush hush br frond number plat and its tender are still around
Shush Shush I would have been a better name !
That's British nicknaming and not the actual name which is W1
Hows the USA stuff ?
I find it interesting that we are subscribed to a lot of the same people.
@@H.O.Scalemodeler4501 lol
You think you could do a Paint Your Engine video on an extinct American class, now that you’re about to do American slips? I personally think a good start would be either the New York Central’s Niagara’s or the Norfolk and Western’s Jawn Henry, AKA, America’s only GOOD steam turbine (at least in my personal opinion)
