Hush Hush is up there on my list of locos I wish had been preserved. Perhaps had it been saved it rebuilt form and then been modified back to original form a bit like Dutchess of Hamilton we’d have an amazing museum piece for the NRM.
Then again, it not being preserved and having so few recordings of it helps add to the mystery and intrigue of Hush Hush.

Hush Hush was the first prototype loco I found out about. I didn't know there was so much to it's history, or that it had a planned name of British Enterprise.
It honestly deserved preservation, most likely it could've been a static display at the NRM opposite Mallard and Dutchess of Hamilton.

I'd never heard of Hush Hush. Fascinating story well told. And I like the way you overlayed the tale and the painting. Good painting, too.

Such a fascinating engine this was. I'm honestly surprised Gresley didn't try the ship boiler on the P2s. Or maybe he did and it wasn't recorded, who knows?

You think you could do a Paint Your Engine video on an extinct American class, now that you’re about to do American slips? I personally think a good start would be either the New York Central’s Niagara’s or the Norfolk and Western’s Jawn Henry, AKA, America’s only GOOD steam turbine (at least in my personal opinion)
