I'm glad to see that this movie is finally getting some love. I just hope they finally release a good blu ray of this film.
FRIGHT NIGHT/FRIGHT NIGHT 2, are the embodiment of film perfection.
Fun Fact, Jon Gries also played a werewolf in the 1987 film The Monster Squad.
I hadn’t seen FRIGHT NIGHT PART 2 for a long time until about 2018, when I bought the DVD from a friend on Twitter. I was shocked by how good it is, and it keeps getting better every time I watch it.
Brian Thompson played multiple Buffy Villains. My favourite show of all time!
So many favorite moments in this film. The humor is fun. Nice to see Charlie and Peter back. Alex is resourceful (I can recite her "I'm the doctor" speech for no reason). Julie Carmen brings that Dandrige smugness.
I agree that this film is Getting the recognition it deserves. I love the Original Fright Night (1985) it's a Blast to watch. Fright Night part 2 (1988) is fun to watch also. ❤❤
This is a very underated sequel! We love this film! Uncle Rico was also the Wolfman in The Monster Squad! You love horror so much and it really shows in your awesome reviews! Rue Morgue should give you a raise! cause "You're so cool, Yasmina!"

I love Fright Night 2! Regine was awesome! My favorite line of hers was. "You'll have to get closer than that, over the centuries one develops a bit of tolerance for some of the trappings"...
Finally, someone is giving this movie the recognition it deserves. I loved it and Julie Carmen is mesmerizing as Regine. Thank You!
Yes! Brian thompson played the captured serial killer vamp that Buffy was set up to fight by the Council ... And best of all, he appeared in several episodes as Rock, the black magic dealer! Going back further, pretty sure he was on Kindred, a wonderful underrated show, all but forgotten...
Fright Night 2 is BETTER than the 1st movie. I'm 1 of the few people who saw it in the theater & have watched it at least 100 times because I have it on disc. Yasmina, you're beautiful 😍

Every video of rue morgue is awesome but your video is simply fantastic, incredible and let me every time that watch it, with desire of “re-watching” that movie or watch for the first time the movie you rewind ( and sorry for my poor English but I’am only an Italian that live in Tokyo with a passion for American and Canadian 80’s horror movies that have anyone to speak about it). Yasmina is such a delight, she could review a bale of hay and I would still enjoy it. Funny that Jon Gries was also a werewolf in The Monster Squad! I love to watch both Fright Nights back to back, to me you can't have one without the other. And the theme song for both of them is so dang good.

Glad to see Fright Night 2 finally getting the love/respect it deserves. I used to have this on VHS, and I can't even remember how many times I watched it...enough to wear out the tape that's for sure LOL R.I.P to my Fright Night 2 videocassette
I love Yasmina and this show to death, but how dope would it be to do a special on the old Jumbo Video Horror VHS room and how it influenced us as kids. I grew up across from one on Keel St and here I am in my 40s still trying to recreate that vibe in my basement.
I absolutely luv the remake of fright night with David Tennant, omigod! Another wonderful sequel that gets little praise is psycho 2, really great plot and cast,,!
The problem with The Rewind Zone is each episode is too short, I could listen to Yasmina talk about movies for hours.

I thought you were talking about Fright Night 2 with Jaime Murray and I got confused because that movies completely sucks. But Fright Night PART 2, is great. I agree.
