This is rock the way I remember it.....when you went out on Friday nights got hammered checked out a local band in your best pair of Levis and a leather jacket
Great Lesson. Have you ever listened to the Groundhogs - Thank Christ For the Bomb has got some excellent tracks including a fantastic solo on Soldier which I am sure you would enjoy. It's one of those are albums where, IMHO, there are no weak tracks.
Paul Kossoff was another excellent guitar player that died way too young... he and Paul Rogers wrote some excellent music. Classic riffs.. hadn't heard this song in a long time. Time to break out the Free cds
First comment again! Listening to it on the cd, I would never have bothered to try and learn it, but seeing you playing it makes it look far more interesting!
Thanks for the lessons, I always enjoy them! Sorry you had to put up with the tweens nonsense on the other channel...moderated is the way to go for sure. Thanks Again !!!!
Hey, James! I really appreciate all your efforts through the years. I wonder if you might take a couple of special requests... It seems like you've covered just about everything, but do you remember a couple of bands from the mid-'80's, The Producers and David and David? The Producers were pretty big-time and got some decent play on MTV back in its infancy. Do you think you could whip up "What She Does to Me"? It's got a nice arpeggiated progression going on and a really tasty outro solo... David and David's Welcome to the Boomtown is a solid album from start to finish and any tracks on there that might inspire you will be equally well-received. Thanks!
Excellent!! Seeing how YOU do it is exactly what i watch your videos for! Don't know if its allowed but how bout "Screams" by BOC? Would love to see how you do it!
Is that one of those fender mandolins in the background if so you should post some vids on mandolin. Maybe do some of Levon Helm's mandolin stuff from The Band maybe like Rag Mama Rag or Long Black Veil?
Hey JJ, Thanks for doing this one , I love all Free and Bad Company stuff. Which Les Paul are you using there ? a R9 or RO plaintop ? thanks for your help.
Nice Job covering of " I'll be Creepin' "Could you do Bad Company's Love me Somebody I just really need the lead part but the way you do so good on the whole song , Love to see you put that video up ! Thanks in advance !
Hey James been a long time subscriber since the P.T. days. I made a request couple years ago for Bob Seger, Back in '72 lesson and I would like to make the same request. By the way awesome new channel!

I like to think that Koss would approve. You nailed that deep throaty Les Paul tone.

Hi,James!
Please do "Good Morning,Vietnam" (by Hendrix) Lesson!
Thx.
anton dok Hendrix videos always get copyright strikes, that's why he doesn't upload much Hendrix
Nice one
Free!
dfar0 A great, great band that only guitar players really appreciate.
Great
Murphys boogie' by Mat (guitar) Murphy' maybe a lesson on this tune, thanks.
What amps do you play, if you don't mind sharing?
ajlvance For the last 18 months, I've only really used one: Peavey Vypyr 100. Before that, I was using a Marshall AVT 50H half-stack.
Ouch!
...doesn't sound the same on a Strat, I can tell you!
Love this track musically but lyrically it gives me a real bad taste
