the "Mistake" egg is my favorite. The spiral pattern created this unique pleasing flower-like pattern on the top and bottom and also the Jade celadon had the most contrast so you can see the pattern well.

I quite agree! The Mistake egg is my favorite as well. This was another really nice video. Thanks for sharing your ideas. I do not often throw off the hump. There is a good chance that I will cut right through the bottom of the egg, but it is worth a try.

Thank you! Good luck! If you press away enough clay at the bottom and then cut a bit lower your bottom might be a bit thicker, but you can better have a thick bottom than no bottom at all😅
